I'll be first then......fancy going out for a drink??!Well i am single. And I only go for spurs supporting blokes. A better class of man
Maybe we put the cart before the horse. Should have spent a lot of that money improving the team before building a new stadium.
It's not about the loss total tbh I cited that to illustrate a point because those losses have also ran in conjunction with a drop in league position and it could have been far worse for us.
If we would have taken that form into the start of the season can you imagine what might have happened? This is why it's so important we bounce into next season in a positive mindset.
The end of last season was a warning shot for us, we are closer to being caught than we are to winning the league, despite some of us, me included, earlier in the season thinking we were on par with Liverpool and City in terms of squad quality.
The scum have had their manager for one season and they very nearly finished above us and they are terrible, let's not sugar coat it, it would have been an embarrassment them finishing above us with the squad and manager they have.
That loss against Burnley was when our form basically plummeted (minus a few results) and that was soley down to lack of reinforcements imo, that's why it is imperative we go into this season with new signings and prepared for the first game, like Poch wants.
There's also the fact that he can't stay healthy. Its got to be tough when you miss a month, play 6 games, miss 6 weeks and then play again. No way to get in a rhythm.

Walk away to where though? Athletico Madrid? I don't think money is a big motivation.
I'm not sure it quite goes with Giglamesch....
That's a long way from the answer you first gave, I originally pulled you up because you said the league cup was mickey mouse, As for AM they've gone long periods without winning la liga the other two clubs are fighting for the league year in and year out, that's where he would want to go as opposed to taking a sideway step.I'm framing what would constitute a bigger club/new challenge to a pro footballer....
More chance of a major trophy
Stature/perceived size of club
More dosh.
(Re: AM... They won their league 4/5 years ago... Us 5 decades ago.... You do the maths.)
I"m not cunting Spurs off... It's just an unfortunate reality.
You either have lost track of what you're debating or you're being willfully obtuce to avoid considering what's being said.
But I refute that all those clubs on the list will appeal to him though, also there might be several coaches of clubs on that list that might decide he isn't a decent fit no matter if he was free but we were talking about this transfer window anyway not next summers.Pointlessly facetious on your part. He's a VERY appealing signing for one of the listed clubs if he's available on a free.
I KNOW you're not this ignorant.
No, I'm refuting what you've presented as FACT ("No-one wants him") with a reasonable/credible rational.
I'm not claiming KNOWLEDGE - Key difference.
I'm not presenting anything as fact, its obviously just my opinion formed with reasonable/credible rational like yourself.
Not at 80 million and not at the rumoured 130 million price tag for prem clubs.None of the clubs I've mentioned would potentially have an interest in Eriksen? ....If it wasn't for OUR interests preventing it; you don't think any of the other top 6 EPL clubs would fancy him either? The same player who you're happy to pour plaudits on; no other clubs would rate? ...Mixed signals from you, tbh.
I take your point and agree with you but can We count on the extra revenue if everything went on the building and the team doesn't improve enough to keep the stadium filled. I would much rather see Spurs playing great football at WHL than struggle in a shiny new stadium. That's just deferring... The stadium plan kicked in long before the actual build started. At a time where a league title or CL win was anything but on the cards.
You're also overlooking a big part of the reason to build the stadium.... Extra revenue to help pay the wages and fees required to keep us consistently in contention.
Plus the disgusting Salad is off ......,Yeah I'm not disagreeing with this.
Though I honestly don't think Liverpool are on City's level - and they are somewhere between us and City now. 97 points flattered them. They had a lot of things go in their favour - ref decisions, injuries, timings of fixtures - whereas we had the opposite. They kept momentum going which was inspiring for them. We 'gave up' and threw any ideas of momentum in the bin after that Mike Dean game like you said - a mentality Poch has struggled to deal with at Spurs for years.
I feel if last season were played 10 times over, our average points total would be a lot closer to 80, and Liverpools around the high 80s - with City still smashing 90+ every time.
Suppose my point being that I feel both us and Liverpool are similarly a long way off City in squad depth, but Liverpool are miles ahead of us in terms of mental game. I don't know (like most fans) if this is a club, player or backroom staff problem.
Trippier style really fits a load of teams. Any team that isn’t Tottenham he fits perfectlyTrippier is better than Spurs supporters credit him for and his style would be well suited in different teams/leagues. I'm not shocked that he's getting attention from other clubs, I just don't know what our plan is at RB at all at the moment. Ndombele is putting the rest of our transfer plans on hold it seems.

I'll bet a dollar we go into the year with Foyth/Aurier fighting for the job and KWP getting the cups.Trippier is better than Spurs supporters credit him for and his style would be well suited in different teams/leagues.
