Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nothing on Betis website yet but still early days following the announcement

BTW, fun fact, Bruno isn't dead - Dyabla's full name is Paulo Bruno Dyabla !
Maybe "Bruno" was code for Dybala all along....

Lo Celso and Tanguy are great - brilliant signings.

But I can’t help feeling that Dybala is the real statement-making, marquee signing we are all craving (not least because he was unattainable for Yanited - which in itself would show how the days of ‘lads, it’s Tottenham’ are behind us....)
I’m not craving it. I don’t want us to become another team that tries to buy the championship: I like that we’re organic, and work hard, and don’t pay stupid (even more stupid) salaries, and do stand up and say ‘no, modern football is f**ked by the money-men (and women)’ and we won’t play that stupid game that protects the status quo of the rich, richer and the poor, poorer.

The fact that there is even such a thing as image rights, tells you all you need to know.

(On holiday, no internet unless I sneak to the top of the path- bit grumpy not able to follow transfers).

Or Fernandes who United tried for but couldn't complete the deal.

Spurs are more attractive than ManU to players in pretty much every way - other than ManU have more money to throw at a problem (as they regularly do hence having high earners who they cannot sell as wages too high)

So is the dyabla deal more likely all cash or Eriksen + cash? Too many pages to read all the gossip.

I get the sentiment but this is money the club has earned and planned for. This isn't anywhere near buying a trophy. We still bring academy players through. We aren't City or Chelsea. We spent a billion on the stadium I think its okay to spend a hundred million on the squad.
