Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Mate, you have 51,000 posts in 7 years. You average 20 posts every single day of the year for over 7 years. That's the saddest thing on this entire forum, it genuinely seems like you have massive issues.

I'll happily disappear, I've got better shit to do with my life than write manic depressive rants on a football forum. I only came back for transfer deadline week.

20 posts a day takes about 20 minutes.
Did you just call me sad....and then say you only come here St Skysports Day?

Hahaha

Obviously Lo Celso and Sess are very good signings, but if we lose Eriksen in the next few weeks, which is still a real possibility, can people really say we've had a good window?

- If Eriksen leaves, Lo Celso is his replacement - Makes us weaker
- Ndombele has replaced Mousa - No real difference
- We've sold Trippier and replaced him with no one - Makes us weaker
- Sessengnon comes in which adds some squad depth - Makes us slightly better

I'm sorry to put a damper on things but it does need to be said I feel. There is still the distinct possibility we end this window in a weaker position than we started, which would just be totally unacceptable.

A very good transfer window. Fantastic quality, and strength in depth in all positions for the coming season except RB. Our midfield is just world class, possibly the second best midfield in the world behind City?
As for RB, I hope Aurier keeps his head down and fulfils his potential, he does have talent, just needs to stop making rash decisions and keep focus. Foyth as RB in big games away from home will be decent, he just doesn't offer much in an attacking RB role.

Also I know people are upset about Dybala, but he would have taken up a massive transfer fee and wages. The combination of not buying him, and cashing in on Eriksen, could mean that next season when Ald leaves and Vert turns 33, we have enough cash to buy a world class centre back as a replacement. This transfer window means both our short and long term prospects are good. Great!
