I'm not saying he's gone from total control to no control - I don't believe either were/are true - I'm sure he still has input, but Pochettino was extremely truculent at times with the media this summer (in fact going back at times toward the end of last season too). And was pretty unequivocal about his role being "changed" back to head coach.
I definitely think it sounds like our process has been slightly rejigged with Poch's influence maybe reducing?
I have a horrible memory I try to pretend was a dream - where Poch said he would love to manage Madrid or something to that effect.
This un necessary break of rank is just the kind of thing Levy does not tolerate.
It wouldn't shock me if that changed things a bit. Poch wont be with us forever. The chances are this squad will be inherited by someone else and Poch takes charge of a rival.
Maybe Poch got 'dropped' from transfer duties for the widow as a lesson, although all his targets were seemingly acquired regardless.
