"Repeatedly"?????

That's such horseshit.... You really haven't.

Outside of Son & Kane (assuming you like them); do you rate any of our players?

Serge, Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Lucas, Bergwijn, GLC, Ndombele, Gedson have all been cussed by you for one reason or another.... Much like the manager and the owners..... Hart & PEH both received a fat "meh".... You want Rose gone.... Doesn't leave many...

Toby? Hugo? Gazzaniga? Sessengon?

Be a cliche and call me a happy clapper if you wish; regardless, there are plenty of balanced posters here.... But you sir however are NOT one of them.

When has GLC been cussed by me? I love the player and if anything likely overrate him. After Kane he is the player I would least like to see leave the club. Also would like to know when I have cussed Sanchez or Bergwijn? I think Sanchez is best as the #2 CB which I hardly think is a big criticism.

Repeatedly is true. Feel free to search all my posts about GLC, might be easy to search out The Hood's post in game threads and my response to them.

Often when I am discussing a player like Dier who I have criticized it is in the context of wanting Toby and Sanchez to play ahead of him. That is praising the players we have on the squad who I think are better, but for some who are so focused on my supposed hatred only look at it as criticizing Dier not that I rate the other two Spurs players.

I have often defended Kane when people discuss bringing in someone to challenge him or the ridiculous notion that we are hurt because he needs to be "gifted" a spot.

When discussing Moura my main point has always been that I want Bergwijn playing over him because he is a better player, again this gets spun to me being negative about Moura rather than me rating Bergwijn.

I have done this before so I will try to be quick about it. I think that Kane, Son, GLC, Toby, Sanchez and Lloris are the only sure fire Top 4/CL level starters we have. I think Bergwijn is close and fine with him being there as well. I am unsure about Tanguy because we have not seen enough. I have not been impressed but will defer to others that saw him more in France that say he has world class talent and put him in the undecided camp. I think he is too much trouble and has shown too often in the past that he is unwilling to put the work in but if he is as good as people say he is I don't see us likely to bring in a player of that level if we let him go.

As for the others- I know shocking that I don't like Aurier and Sissoko, must be the only Spurs fan that doesn't rate them. Likewise, its crazy that every other Spurs fan is gaga over the PEH and Hart signings. I mean no chance those signings have been met with mixed results and people saying similar things, what a crazy outlier I am on those two things.

If Winks is on the bench and a Captain/top player for EL/Cup games I love that player and that role for him. I love the fact that he is so passionate about the club and loves to be here. I actually hate that he has been forced into a starting role that doesn't suit him and then overrated by the fan base so that it seems that I hate him. He is actually one of my favorite players. However, there is no way he should be in a starting role for us. He is not good enough. He is slow with the ball and is unwilling or unable to make decisive passes we need. I will not ignore that just because I like him.

Dier is not a good CB, that is the truth. He has poor defensive awareness, is not a good passer of the ball, is not fast enough to make up for his poor reads and is too willing to make rash challenges after his poor defensive reads. I have no problem criticizing him and don't think that makes me less of a fan.

Gedson, meh. Not sure what should be said about him. He hasn't done much is his limited time here to have anyone be all that positive about him. He was average in the game against Ipswich Town reserves and I don't see any reason to get excited about him at all. I hope this year he is more comfortable and shows us something but I am not sure why anyone would feel anything more than apathy for him based on his time here.

I think coming in to the site after a season like we just had was likely a poor time for me because I feel no need to be a homer when it comes to my teams. I don't see the reason for not calling out clear flaws in the team and the players.

i should have joined last January when I was so positive about where we were going and blindly by how much fun it was to follow this team. Hell, even in the summer I was still blinded enough to think we would cruise to 3rd and ignored all the clear signs. Had I joined then people would be whining about what I Spurs cheerleader I was and that would be the narrative people use to frame my posts, rather than this BS negative narrative that people try to create.

You are wrong, which isn't suprising consider how much time you spend looking for my posts to spam with dislikes, as though that is some big dig at me! LOL

I will say again the fact that we just finished 6th and had what many would agree is a frustrating, if not down right awful season and people are surprised that not every fan loves every player surprises me.

The fact that some fans think you have to love and overrate every single player on a team or you are not a fan is one of the dumbest aspects of fandom there is.

I have repeatedly defended and spoke glowingly about many Spurs players. I have been very up front about my concerns with the team as well. If it is too much for you to handle criticisms about a team that just finished 6th, when I think for the club and most fans is not what we see as our goal, then I would recommend you just put me on ignore (if they have that feature) or scroll past my posts.

There is no need to sugar coat things with this or any club. It doesn't make our team or players any better to overrate them. It doesn't make you a better fan to ignore the clear issues we have.

If that is what you need to do as a fan then go right ahead but to try and tell other fans (especially when you get it so wrong) how they have to cheer for the team is dumb and pointless.

As for amazing to have done what we have, we finished 6th, went out early in the League and FA Cup to weak teams and were blown out in the CL. Not exactly what I would consider doing well.
Wow Jesus so long. I disagree with most stuff you say but i have also agreed with the occasional thing you've said so don't make out its some personal vendetta against you

You've not said one good thing about a spurs player since you've joined and come accross like you some sort of expert on football talking down to other posters. You know as much about football as the rest of us

Sorry are you trying to claim that Danny Rose and Sessegnon (in terms of being a PL LB) are not shit?
In all honesty I can't stand Danny Rose anymore but I will say this.

Looking at the bigger picture we do need to upgrade left back but I just don't think it's right now. Money obviously seems tight. I would rather spend our budget on a better quality player in one or two positions rather than on 4 or 5 quick fixes.

There is more than one way to improve a squad. I will use Danny Rose as an example for this. We as fans wrote him off but he improved when poch had his back and at one point he was considered one of the best left backs out there.

I think Jose can spark a bit of fire in some of these players. He showed it with dele when he first arrived, I know his form has dipped again but I think that's to do with injurys.

No offense but I ain't reading/replying to all that.... I'm not interested in a full essay critque of the entire squad (a list would have done).

....But for the last quote:

Perhaps consider WHY people have this impression of you (like it or not; It's not just me)... If as you say you bounce from what you call "blind" happiness when the going is good to perpetual negativity as soon as times get tougher then (like I said) you're not exhibiting balance like you think you are.... That's called bi-polar.

Don't care if you read it or not, just dispelling a lot of the crap that you posted.

I do not go from those extremes at all, once again you reading what you want into a post rather than what was actually posted. I am not in perpetual negativity right now at all.

I would say that most people don't have that impression of me, the main people that do would be the posters that are seen as the homers or blind supporters or whatever term you like that. For the most part with many posters here I have agreed or disagreed with them on the topic, got likes or disagrees from them on the topic.
Just like you likely disagree with the group of people that see you as an ENIC bot, I disagree with the vocal minority that yell about me being negative.

Understanding that Levy is cheap as dirt and will never spend the money needed to upgrade all the positions we need upgraded I agree we likely won't buy a clear upgrade at LB but I think with our needs at RB there is no reason we can't buy a starter there and a back-up that can play either side so they can cover at both FB spots as needed.

I think ideally this would be a young guy who could overtake Davies during the season but if not just be alternative to rotate Davies out every now and again or make sure that we aren't relying on Cirkin would be nice.

So what you're saying is that everything was roses, but although now you've miraculously seen the light; the shit spell is not at all intrinsically linked to that?

Ok, boss.

Fella, protest all you want... The fact is that I can see ACTUAL balanced posters commenting towards you in a similar fashion... Forget what you think of me; that's not important.... The fact is, having only been here less than 2months, you can't credibly claim to have anywhere near the same insight into the vast membership of this community and what their posting habits are.

The members here that call others bots are generally pretty pathetic.

Genuine question, on the basis of increased stadium revenue and as evidenced by last season's spending; would you not have expected us to continue to spend in a similar vein this summer had it not been for turnstiles being closed?

No what I am saying is that when we were going well I probably would give off a more positive posting style than when we are coming off arguably our worst season in ~10 years.

Feel free to point them out because outside of yourself and some other clear trolls like Sammy, whateverGoat, Baggio and RomanCrizale or whatever their names are I have had fairly normal interactions with the other posters here.

I never once claimed to have insight into the membership of this community but I clearly have a much better understanding of what my interactions have been on this site compared to what you want to spin them to be.

No I would not.

Because I saw in the winter window us go for the cheap route (Gedson loan) and ignore spending on areas that we had major concerns in.

Define Troll....?

You've been here 7 weeks... That's quite the fan-club considering. :)

No I would not.

- Gedson was a short term solution to an injured Sissoko.
- Bergwijn proved more than useful.
- Striker would have been nice... Were clearly in the hunt tho.

So what you're saying is we'd have stashed the bulk of our money this summer?

If we've done this in the past 10 years, would you perhaps show us all where said money has been hidden? ...Or at least show us it leaving the accounts? Standard open challenge to all. :)

Davies is good enough, he had two good seasons when Poch was in charge and Mourinho really trusts him now. Why shouldn't we?

I think he is not very suitable for LWB role, but for LB role at 4 defenders he can be a very good left-back.
