I did a small research on Joshua King.

First of all, as I suspected, Bournemouth fans believe he is the club's best striker - he's been playing second field to Wilson for some time, but according to the vast majority of them King should be the one playing as a 9. They all mention his work-rate, which is something important for our backup striker - he needs to do our dirty work in Cup matches, but he also needs to play alongside Kane.

His direct style, aerial ability and pace (yes, he's got some) would really help us. King is Premier League proven - like Hojbjerg and Doherty. He can also play in one of the attacking midfield positions; he's homegrown; he's got one more year in his contract; his club just got relegated. Honestly, I think he is our man.

I've watched his game against Everton (Bournemouth's last match). For those interested in knowing more about him, I truly recommend it - even in a relegated team, he did very well.

Ironically we are maxed out HG for EL.
Hart, Doherty, Alli, Sessgnon

"Keep an eye on it" = no chance.
We have left sided players enough.

Maybe. But a point he brought up was his similar opinion on Doherty.

Gold pointed out that when he initially heard we were interested in Doherty that he thought the financials would work out. Then a couple days later he got wind of the few being discussed and was surprised. He said this could be similar.

Scratch this seems he's going to Roma. Never mind. Chris Wood is it!

Jokes aside..... his stats are ok

10 in 24
10 in 38
14 in 32 last season.

28 years old, 6'3 last year of his contract.

could our greatest kiwi since Ryan Nelson!

I think if we brought in Chris Wood and a young winger/forward- say Said Benrahma- that would give us decent options. Wood would provide a out and out striker to play up front in the EL/Cup games, plus a competent replacement if Kane were out for a stretch of games in the PL. Benrahma would be an option to come off the bench against a parked bus, play along side Kane when needed and potentially grow into a top class player.

One problem, there is only room for one King at Tottenham Hotspur :ledley:

Noice. To be honest, it did puzzle me why we seemed hellbent on Wilson with King being there with only one year left on his contract.

Did someone at Hotspur Way only just point out he's homegrown despite being Norweigan?!

Ali Gold just posted a video update and spoke on Reguilon.

He said LB "isn't a priority" but "the club really likes him" and "I wouldn't be stunned if they made a move".

The caveat....it'd have to be another surprising value deal. He's been rumored around 20-25m.

Closed out on the topic with "keep an eye on it".
I’m not sure what’s more worrying here, the fact that we don’t see left back as a “priority” or the fact we see 20 million for one of the top young left backs in Europe as too expensive.

Interesting article. It would be a major coup if we could snatch this guy from under Utd's noses.
Okay, scrub that post, looks like it's bollocks
