Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Played 19 minutes out of a possible 2,340 at Leeds in his first loan of the season.

Played 139 minutes of a possible 1,440 for QPR in his second loan.

We haven't dealt with this one well at all - some say he hasn't really been the same since he had his seizure last season. Some say the whole signing was so that Poch could just give his mate Bielsa some money. Some say Pochettino didn't even want Clarke.

Next season will be telling. Jose gets to have a look at him. But I think it's likely we'll try and loan him out again and hope he does well enough that the particular loan club end up buying him and we cut our losses. I doubt we'll ever be able to get the same amount for him, especially if he doesn't develop how we'd like.

This isn't like Sessegnon underperforming, because at least we know Sessegnon can at least perform consistently at Championship level if we do try and sell in future.
Shocking really that we let Marcus Edwards go and actively signed Jack Clarke

Didn't Guardiola sell Hojbjerg? he certainly packed him on a bunch of loans rather than play him at Bayern where he gave him a handful of games in three years.

Mourinho rated Sully Muntari and Marouane Fellani, and didn't rate players like KDB etc.

Ancelotti has been playing Gilfi Sigurdsson as a CM lately.

Hardly a bomb proof CV of ratingness.
Anything to fit the agenda, hey.

I think it/s more shocking that we signed Nkoudou for £10,000,000 instead of developing Marcus Edwards.
Theres a million of these. It's all what ifs. Nkoudou could have turned out to be a world beater, as could have Janssen.

Every transfer is a gamble. We all thought Ndombele was going to be the greatest signing ever, now we wouldnt be too fussed if he was sold this summer.

Not really - we should have realised throughout that 16/17 season that Nkoudou wasn't good enough, aimed to sell him the following year and give Edwards a more prominent role in the squad.

Janssen, in his position, didn't hinder the development of any young potential striker capable of playing first team games for the club. Just like Ndombele hasn't hindered a potential central midfield star.

We fucked up with Edwards - though I am not sure we regret it as much as City with Sancho.

Nah he's a fake , type up his name , he doesn't exist , any reporter would have some sort of internet history eg. a profile on the website they work on.

Spot on.

His stock image is an 'Alex Wood' here.

And a random guy here.
