Haven't really seen anyone question FFP and where Shitty etc get enough money to sign 5 x 50m players a year either.
So only we abide by the squad restrictions and only we abide by FFP.

But Levy is absolutely certain the bubble will burst and we'll be in a strong position.

As Chelsea snap up another 2 or 3 world class players.

I don't think Chelsea have signed any world class players this window have they?

Let alone 2 or 3. Behave.

Lamela will be here forever. I've come to terms with that and everyone else should. He'll be a player till he's forty, then he'll be the manager for 20 years. Then, with all the money he has earned from us, he'll buy out Levy.

Well, seeing as any meaningful definition of "World class" would be "Would make a world squad" in the event of us finding top-quality football being played elsewhere in the galaxy in the immediate future - ie, you have to be in the top 3 in your position on the planet, then nobody in Europe has signed anyone at that level.

I don't know what the level below that would be called, shall we go for "highest possible international level"? where you have to be in the top two or three in your country (or the league you play in), with that country/league being a major international force, then you'd have to say that Timo Werner fits that description, ¿no?

I think Werner is great.

Just don't think he's at a level where attackers like Suarez, Aguero, Kane, Lewandowski etc have all been in recent years.

I think we'd do better bringing in someone who wants to be main striker than some bum happy to sit on the bench and collect his salary.

I also think Kane would be better for it too

We would be better but know one will come. Everybody knows that Harry is the main striker and any top striker will not want to sit on the bench. I wish we could get s top striker who could challenge Harry but we have not managed to get one since Harry's first started banging goals in. Do you honestly think we have not tried know one wants to be a bench warmer. All we get is a llorente
