Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Wrong again. I absolutely WAS claiming that DL priced CE out of a move. And I have many an article to defend that perspective...in fact RESPECT THE COCK RESPECT THE COCK has already posted one.

No oil here my man. Just facts and substantiated claims. And at least you know you are one of the slippery best. One day on this side of the fence the next day on the other. Whatever serves to win you some internet points for the day.

No need to reply. You're back banished to the Airfixx realm.

Mentioning me in a disturbing amount of your posts (then hiding behind your ignore button)... Don't even have the balls to tag me properly most of the time....

Ya big feckin' pussy!!! :dawsonlol:

Sangaré links excites me, he's a pure DM unlike Højbjerg.
They'd probably end a match together as well if Mourinho is going for some shithousery to see out a narrow lead.

It seems like the sort of thing that could easily backfire. For the sake of a small gesture of goodwill it’s something that could easily have pissed off the other club and soured relationships on a personal level.
Similar thing: if you're wanting to win a player over, organise a private jet, don't send them across on Ryanair.

Again, it seems like that period is behind us, especially with Levy going all bling on the stadium, training centre, and player lodge.

I'll conclude that you feel DL putting a too high price on Eriksen's head is the reason he didn't leave (correct?)
Yes, a 'fuck you' price will do that. Someone looking to sell something at least has a price in the realm of reasonable. 130M for CE with one year on his contract is not that. Again, how much did he go for?

I feel that if a club would've been really interested, they would have made an (in their eyes) decent offer regardless of DL's crazy price tag, or at least started negotiations.
Well that would be looking to have it both ways wouldn't it? DL can't be considered this hard negotiator AND have folks around the football world thinking he can be haggled down.

And again, this is your feeling. Hytner, who is presumably more intimate with the goings on than you, implies it is the other way.

So I feel CE didn't move because no club actually approached us. (The articles I found stated neither RM or others ever made a formal move).
Again, as Hytner says the number was put out for other teams to know. DL would have told CE's agent what price he would let him walk for and the agent would have passed it along. CE, himself, said he was priced out of a move. No one makes a formal move/bid wihtout already knowing the ballpark they are playing in. No one made a move because 130M from an infamously tough nut is not a ballpark most want to play in.

That's why I feel you shouldn't really blame DL for it (in this instance). Because the crazy price tag wouldn't be able to scare away any serious candidates.
Are you serious? In what world is CE worth 130M? Serious candidate or not? Methinks you are not looking as this dispassionately and in your zeal to defend DL/the club you are thinking zebras instead of horses when you hear hoofbeats.

You can believe the declared price tag did matter, I believe it didn't really. I'm OK if we disagree on this.
I'm fine with it too but you have to be fine with folks thinking that you believe CE is worth 130M or at least negotiating from that point.

This shit. This shit right here is the kind of Levy story that drives me bananas. The only defence I'd have for it is that he knew Real were desperate for him with endless resources (though the price he went for was still rather unimpressive) - it might have benefitted Spurs in the Bale sale as RM will have had PTSD from Modric.

I *think* he's cut this kind of shit out. Hopefully.

Funnily enough, I’ve heard people suggest the opposite about him. The BBC did a deadline day special a few years back, talking to ex players and agents, and one old boy agent went out of his way to say that Levy was actually very traditional. Drives a hard bargain but once agreed, he doesn’t muck anyone around. That’s why he hates so many of the super agents.

Modric was pretty acrimonious. I wouldn’t take his word as gospel.

>I'm going to make a noncommittal statement about Sabitzer. After that TalkSport fella mentioned him already, of course. Tee hee, what am I like?
>Did you guys know Callum Wilson has a history of knee injuries?! #toptableonly
>You're not going to believe this, but Aurier is close to leaving. His destination... *holds sealed envelope to forehead*... Italy. No need to thank me for this revelation.

If anyone understands what I'm referring to by 'the elevator scene from Drive' you'll know exactly what I want to do to Hercules.

'Any attention is better than no attention'

Seriously.... Just starve the twats of attention....

I wouldn't even know of them if it wasn't for all the posts on here....

Cry harder you schoolboy bitch.

Speak to me like that again and it'll be the last thing you do.

Now fuck off you gooner melt
Ha ha ...brilliant you think threatening me on a faceless forum bothers me. Your pathetic you fucking parasite, there you are I dared to talk to you like you talk to others...again.
Typical throw in the gooner comment because you have nothing else, I am pretty confident I have been supporting this club for maybe longer than you have been alive judging by the childish way you react..
I'm off to get a drink just in case its the last thing i ever do lmao !!!

Not just Modric's word though...

But again, I do think he's chilled a bit. You couldn't do a deal with Aulas (twice!) otherwise.

You've never seen a single spurs game you lying fat cunt. Drown in your diet coke you odious lemon.

Absolutely childish, non-league Mickey Mouse bullshit.

I get it, it's funny, but that attitude is not fit to be the CEO of the size of operation this club aspires to be.

"It showed me how to appreciate every penny a club spends.'"

It seems it was taken in good faith..... Could have even had an element of banter about it.

I take your former point about agents, but this story is pure comedy IMO.

Brilliant...let me guess. Only you are allowed an opinion because you have been to every game in the last 40 years. Personally I prefer old white Hart Lane, but the new stadium is spectacular as a venue.
I'm not fat either dickhead, never have been.
I have always been trim and fit, I guess some have all the luck eh lol....i dont drink diet drinks either as I really don't need to.
Go and have a cry to mummy, I'm guessing you probably still live at home and dream of meeting girls/boys...
