There is a lot of interest. But! Lots of clubs interested also. He would love to come to PL and here! But! Cannot see us paying the fee. Believed in excess of 30m. Unless! A creative one.

Trix has already mentioned the various scenarios. Loads of iron in the fire. Initially was told we were not looking at any LB’s. But it seems now we are. Reason Wilson not further advanced is DD on his med-history. Serge very close to leaving from what I know. Italy is his desired destination. Tbvh, cannot call anything with confidence right now, as loads of deals and contingencies lined up. Josè heavily involved with DL may I add. And so far so good.

Expect more revelations over coming days. Affinity, media Spot on near 100%. Caution! By now you know who the reliable ones are😉

Shut up Hercules you bullshitting cunt bag!!!!!

Reason Wilson not further advanced is DD on his med-history.

what does DD mean?

I doubt that those that you mention, like Winks/Sissoko/Lucas will leave. They won't, they either homegrown which is useful at the moment or they signed a new contract lately and that's it + Mourinho likes them. Same with Sanchez, i doubt that Lamela will leave too, tbh.

Possible outgoings non-hg: Aurier, Foyth, 50/50 Gazzaniga, Lamela, Ndombele so max 5 non-hg players in and it won't even be like that.

Just stop with that shit: "Sissoko will leave" he wont and its fine.

Who are you talking to?

I don't know, I've never claimed to know.
Well, you claimed it was not £130m, which suggests that you do know.

What I know is that Levy should have moved heaven and earth to sell Eriksen in the summer of 2018. You have even said this yourself-unless you have changed your mind again. We ended up with a player who didn't want to be here (Poch was very discreet when asked about it, but the more direct Mourinho said Eriksen was not fully motivated), and we ended up getting buttons for him. And a whole lot of drama we could have done without. So, we had drama, we took a significant financial hit-but best of all-we missed an opportunity to reinvest a good wedge of money to revamp the squad at a time when it desperately needed it.

And that is all part of a pattern where Discount Dan is involved. Not shifting players when they need to be shifted. That is why our squad is stuffed to the rafters with crap (or bang average players, if you prefer), some of them holding freshly inked contract extensions.
You've had a bug up your arse about Levy as long as I have known you, and seem to be vexed that I don't think every single thing he does is bad.
That is not true. I have known you for 9 years. In the beginning, I was pro-Levy. It is only in the last few months that I have decided I have had enough.

Yes, a 'fuck you' price will do that. Someone looking to sell something at least has a price in the realm of reasonable. 130M for CE with one year on his contract is not that. Again, how much did he go for?

Well that would be looking to have it both ways wouldn't it? DL can't be considered this hard negotiator AND have folks around the football world thinking he can be haggled down.

And again, this is your feeling. Hytner, who is presumably more intimate with the goings on than you, implies it is the other way.

Again, as Hytner says the number was put out for other teams to know. DL would have told CE's agent what price he would let him walk for and the agent would have passed it along. CE, himself, said he was priced out of a move. No one makes a formal move/bid wihtout already knowing the ballpark they are playing in. No one made a move because 130M from an infamously tough nut is not a ballpark most want to play in.

Are you serious? In what world is CE worth 130M? Serious candidate or not? Methinks you are not looking as this dispassionately and in your zeal to defend DL/the club you are thinking zebras instead of horses when you hear hoofbeats.

I'm fine with it too but you have to be fine with folks thinking that you believe CE is worth 130M or at least negotiating from that point.
Oh I don't believe Eriksen was ever worth 130m :eriksenserious:

Another point why I personally have a problem with believing that the crazy price tag scared away clubs that would've otherwise been prepared to make a decent bid: Where were all those clubs next January? No crazy price tag that month but it was only Inter that was serious. I personally believe no club Eriksen fancied was ever prepared to pay a decent sum for him in August or January, but coming January he became desperate and settled for Inter.

So everyone seems to know about this Sangare fella

Would him and Hojbjerg work well as a CM pairing if we primarily used a 4231?
Fuck knows. I'd like to say 'yes'... maybe... hopefully.

Depends on the formation we want to try and the players we might yet bring in. If Winks sticks around then it might even free him up to play further forward if we don't start Lo Celso in a match.

It'd be a very solid midfield with the two of them together. Perhaps the kind of line up for those top-4-opposition crunch matches where Mourinho is happier to play defensively and either get a draw or snatch a win.

LOL.... Just imagine a cash-in on Eriksen having just finished 3rd when we were expected to return to WHL that September.... The squeals of "selling club" from the haters would have been deafening!

Double dropping.

Double dildo, who knows?

And here is your tabloid story, bus-conductor bus-conductor . Two months after Hytner's story. £80m. I am really doing my level best to be fair. Maybe his crap form contributed to the price reduction.
