I'll be surprised if Sessengon is loaned out next season, Jose is going to want to have as bigger squad as possible if he's wanting to win the Europa, focus on cups and gain a top 4 place.

Say in the league we have our starting 11 as;

Lloris
Aarons - Dier - Alderweireld - Davies
Holjbjerg
Lo Celso - Coutinho/Ndombele
Lucas - Kane - Son

Then in the Europa and cup comps;

Gazzaniga
Tanganga - Kim - Sanchez - Cirkin
Winks - Sissoko
Bergwijn - Brooks - Sessengon
Wilson

Now thats only hypothetically speaking as I've included players we're linked with that I think we have a good chance of signing, but it shows how we can rotate the team and focus on multiple competitions instead of battering our starting 11 through 50+ games a season, with only a 6 week break and then 19 days once this new one ends before the Euros begin.

We all know how this goes we get excited about a potential transfer that falls through and then we end up with some mediocre mid table cloggers on deadline day.

Virtually any specialist DM would massively improve us.... As a signing it would have knock-on effects all over the pitch.

Personally, I'm not a fan, but do you not think Coutinho would improve us?

As for some of the names being bandied around... bloody hell.

Tbh, the cringe names like Deeney have just come from fan-talk.

Yes i do think Coutinho would improve us but not sure there is any interest there? Defensive midfielder i agree, someone like Ndidi, Zakaria or even Declan Rice would improve us, i remain sceptical about Hojbjerg being that player.

At least they are ambitious. I expect to see them in the CL next season. If we don't pull our finger out, we'll be lucky to make top 6

At the end of this TW, I think we can agree on Levy's intentions. Strengthening the squad 👌 not strengthening 👎.
