Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This Airfixx Airfixx fella has literally taken it to a new level. Like those bots who delete Corona vids on Facebook. Anything anti-Levy and he pops up like a floating turd

For his sake - I hope he’s on ENIC’s payroll else he stands accused for being the saddest cunt on here
Nahhh he's okay. Everybody may have differing views on where the faults lie within and what's needed to sort it out but at the end of the day we all share two things, an intense passion for this wonderful football club and a burning desire for it to once again taste success.

Once we eventually do win a trophy the whole mood of this place will change and instead of a lot of the snarling that goes on we'll be talking instead about the wonderful future that lies ahead. Let's hope that's sooner rather than later.

I'm pretty certain not one of those players will be at spurs next season in fact not a Chance, the outlay will be bare minimum with the net spend next to nothing.
No I know for a fact none will be here.
But I’ve yet to see a post which actually defines a good window and the caliber of player we need.

Max Aarons and Callum Wilson aren’t really doing it for me to be honest.
Like our manager we need some proven winners and/or established PL experience.

Tired of signing potential, tired of sideways or backwards steps, and tired of other teams kids.
We have our own.

Also no one pining for Martial and Zaha this year?
Good job we didn’t sign them in that infamous 2018 window then for 70M each then I guess....after just two seasons seems they would have been a load of crap, what a surprise

Martial has been very good actually and will play CL next season

Zaha is better than Lucas, Lamela and prob on par with Stevie B. Might flourish under a manager like Jose - not an 80 year old fool

We need a Bruno F caliber signing - someone who would walk in straight into the first 11 and improve us instantly

Cue some shitters from the French League..

Yes they don't do it for me either, but I don't think we have got time to take a chance on potential.
The worry is that we could fall even further behind and I don't think Jose will wait around for that either.

Yeah - Mane was a massive flop eh...

Actually it was wages (as usual)

You’re a becoming a fucking joke, mate - ANY comment against Levy and you’re on here like a rash. Missing out on Mane over a few bob seems a horrible decision now. How can you possibly still look to defend Levy on this.
Luis Suarez was probably an even bigger miss. He would have joined a team with peak Bale, Modric, Defoe, Lennon and at the same time as Van der Vaart. Plus, it would have set Liverpool back about 5 years.

If 30m for Southampton players is peak Mitchel scouting then he wasn't worth whatever we were paying him.
Lallana, Tadic, Wanyama, Mane, Fonte, Shaw all ended up fantastic for their next clubs so pretty stupid point to be honest lol. Those are the kinds of signings who help you win titles, ask Liverpool.

Look at who were bought for other top teams when they won titles... United bought Young, Van Persie & Rooney who won them Fergie's last title. City bought big with Nasri, Milner, Barry, Clichy etc.

Anyone can identify good players. Not everyone can identify which out of the hundreds of top players you can buy would elevate your team and improve it. Many of us would probably have been interested in Shevchenko and Torres when they went to Chelsea yet they flopped hard... it's really not as easy as it sounds.

How do you work that out when we have a dinosaur manager who parks the bus at home to Norwich or every team we play!
Our last six games of the season (after the Sheff Utd defeat) we scored 10 goals and conceded just 3, amassing 14pts from a possible 18. The last three home matches we scored 6 and let in just 1. Now if that's 'parking the bus' bring it on !.
It starts from the back, solid defence that instills belief through the rest of the team thus allowing the midfield to venture forward with a bit more confidence and create more chances for the forwards to convert into goals. That's not being a dinosaur, that's evaluating the current squad and trying to stabilise it until he can bring in the players he wants.

Missed my point... Buying Mane from S'oton in an EPL-proven price-band in 2016 (when 30m was still considered a fair whack) isn't exactly what Mitchel and his mythical black book was brought in for.... Maybe finding the 'new Mane' but not the actual, already unearthed Mane....

I'm not saying Lallana, Tadic, Wanyama, Mane, Fonte, Shaw weren't good signings.... For S'ton(*). That was obviously the nature of signing's we brought Mitchell in for.... Not to buy them in that 'already discovered' phase of their career.

I'm not sure who exactly we should attribute to him during his time with us, but his tenure being Nov 14 > May 16, one would suspect Trippier, N'jie, GKN, Wimmer, Jansen.... Son maybe? Dele was Pleat's work.... Dier was already on the books.... Davies & Vorm were in.... Toby already had Ajax, Saints, Atleti & Belgium on his CV.

(*You say ask Liverpool, but look at how few of those Poch era S'oton players thrived after their big moves..... Mane is the biggy and Vic was great for us whilst he lasted, but at 30m per pop old money; the likes of Lovren, Lallanna, Shaw, Schniedlerlin etc. weren't particularly good buys.... Being rather polite in some cases.)

As to your closing comments... I totally agree; you don't see me acting the scout on here for good reason. Doesn't mean to say we can't make a critical appraisal of those that work for the club.... Not like our current scouting dept. are dripping with universal praise is it?

That article is nuts, IMO. He has no pace or agility.
I didn't know that. Bad news.

I heard a lot about Çelik during the 2018-19 season (his best so far). He did well playing behind Pepe. He seems to be good on the ball and he is known for solid defensive numbers. I found this grafic very interesting considering what we need from our RB - passes into the final third, progressive distance, and again, defensive qualities. I also believe that he is good at crossing, which is not measured there.

If you could speak more about his qualities and problems, I'd like to hear.
