I thought Hateboer looked good. That would make more sense than stacking up centre backs.
Add Tierney to that, who I think could become a really excellent left back, and they could have a really good young defense. It pains me to say it, but they’re good signings. There’s no point denying it.
More importantly they are the sort of mobile CBs which will allow Arteta to push up and compact the pitch a la Pep. They will be better next season for it, no doubt.
They are gonna be selling players. Guendouzi will get them a fair whack, and the rumour is they will sacrifice Lacazette. There’s no point analysing windows till they are shut.

But we all know how the window will go mate. We have seen it so many times under these lot. The lack of ambition from our owners and chairman in terms of strengthening the playing squad is criminal.
I’m not really debating that. More the idea that other teams have loads of money this summer and ENIC are hoodwinking us that we do not. Apart from Chelsea, City, and United, everyone will be careful.

I have seen him play CB, mainly, and I have to say my impression of him is that his defensive instincts when playing in that position are not at all good. And he is poor on the ball. Bags of pace, mind you.
