I'd say we need a major squad overhaul, but I have no faith in our scouting team to oversee one.
Today was an opportunity for a fresh start, but it seems the malaise has carried over and I worry it's now going to be difficult to shake. Players just seem flat and disinterested, a new signing or two won't change that unless they are absolute world beaters and we all know that won't happen.
Those turning their noses up at the likes of James and Coutinho are absolutely mental, I don’t care if they don't run enough or are inconsistent, we could do with someone who does fuck all and then pops up with a moment of genius, it's better than a bunch that just bring the fuck all to the table.

The fact that no one is even trying to get him when he is that cheap really says it all. Overrated.
Considering the amount of amateur youtube scouts trying to flog him, clubs have clearly rejected him.
James Rodriguez signed for them for about £20m or whatever way they worked the transfer and he played 92 minutes after not playing a full game since February or something and looked quality.
We paid nearly £60m for Tanguy well over a year ago and he can't sprint for more than half an hour, has looked mostly poor, fat and uninterested and couldn't even pass the fucking thing simply today.

I think that is 100% Ancellotti and his relationship with James. There is likely zero percent chance he goes there without Carlo.
Our signings do look gash on today's evidence, but then we you have to raid the piggy bank for players you get what you pay for.
We lack creativity, we still dont have a defensive midfielder, another striker obviously.
And Barrios is by far the best player for that role. Get him regardless of cost
Do you think he would provide any less than Sissoko provides for us?
I am not sure he will be anything great but at this point I would gladly take a young player like him for 10 million and sell the French International in Sissoko for whatever we could get for him.
He might not be great but I can't think he can be anymore useless than Sissoko is.

Always loved Allan he's been class everytime I ever saw him play for Napoli and IMO Everton's best signing of the window.
I think they may have somehow paid something for his remaining contract at Real, I don't think it was free per se, but still...they signed a big name for not much who can run for 90 minutes.
