I always have said I think he fits best playing behind the front 1 or 3 (depending on how we line up the wingers). I know many others prefer him to play deeper.

But if we don't have Ndombele able to play for 90 minutes or play like he did today with only a few good passes and bunch of meh then I think we need to play GLC deep because Winks, PEH, Sissoko cannot pass the ball well enough to move it forward.

For me ideally we would have:

PEH-Ndombele/Ndombele transfer replacement
Son-GLC-Bergwijn
Kane

Feel free to move Son and Bergwijn up to a front 3 and play in a 4-2-1-3 formation if you prefer.
 
We need someone massive up front to try and win all the punts from our defenders. Someone like John fashanu. The Burnley lad is a good shout. Don't need anyone technical or with a good scoring record. Just a big lad that will win stuff in the air and lay it off. Forget tier 1 - it's route 1.

Sure but I will take actually talking to the club over the 17 mediocre Spanish/Portguese striker rumours that seem to be based more on the selling clubs wanting to move the player rather than any indication that we have actually talked to them.

To find out if the player would be interested in moving? Perhaps his loan agreement would need to be broken/altered such that they need Tranzonspor's permission to end it early?

I think the president just confirmed they were in talks with Sorloth so not sure that Trabzonspor are involved in the talks anymore than maybe making the player available so Spurs can contact him.

Wasn’t that maybe why he didn’t feel he was getting a chance and left? I thought he looked promising at Palace. He often played wide and looked a little lost, but he was strong and fast for his size. Is he good enough? Impossible to say, but the fact RB Leipzig are interested should tell you that he’s not a bad player as their scouting is leagues above ours.

No idea. Can only say I saw him a couple times and he looked poor but players can look bad at one team but great at another.

not my choice and rather others but we’ll see

If he's not a "threat" to Kane then why buy him?

He barely got minutes there. We all know that most strikers need a playing streak and a certain confidence to shine. He has done so in Turkey, and has also put in some good shifts in the national team.
I remember a shitty Kane in Leicester before he got the chance in Europa for us and started banging in goals..
As I said before in the thread. Start him in Europa and Carabao and slowly integrate him in the team. I think he can do well.

I guess that fact is a worry when you’re looking for someone who’s minutes will be limited by Kane.
