See them tumbling down
Pledging their love to the ground!
Lonely, but free, I'll be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.....:levylol:

anyone used their One Hotspur discount on Cadbury’s World yet ? 🤡

We cant afford to take the risk imo

4 shit seasons & 1 good season

Could he be a success? Perhaps. But he'd be a huge risk

That is excactly the kind of risks we need to make. We should not spend millions of pounds on "safe" bets like Højbjerg and Doherty, who will almost certainly not be additions that will lift the club and squad. We can not afford to sign the hottest, proven players, like Haaland or Mbappe or Sancho. We have to sign players who might be great given the right conditions. Sørloth has shown in Trabzonspor that he can score goals. He has always shown that he will work hard and put up a fight.

There's risks like Bergwijn

And there's risks like Sorloth, 1 good season in a sub standard league after 4 consecutive shit seasons. 2 in our league. 2 in a league that has provided good and shit strikers to england in the past. Whats the strike rate of turkish league players being a success in england like?

I've never been so negative about a signing since Janssen who like Sorloth had 1 good season and many crap ones prior.

For argument's sake let's say we do have 50 mill to splurge on Belotti, surely the club would first offer that for someone like Ings and Southampton would most likely take it
