Eriksen was a goal scoring and creative attacking mid. GLC is so supremely talented, but a like for like replacement for Eriksen would be great alongside him.

Hate to be controversial but Eriksen towards back end of his time with us started reminding me of coutinho- flashes of brilliance, generally mediocre and thought of way too highly.
If we wanted an Eriksen replacement who was consistent we’d be looking at a fairly high price bracket - fernandes territory.
Personally think the solution is to switch to a 4-3-3 and have Tanguy/Alli and GLC sit higher with Pierre in the holding position. Part of our lack of creativity has been Mourinhos insistence on two DMs - I just don’t see this working with our current squad.
