Given the amount of players who may leave in the summer there’s options out there that could replace them and improve the squad for similar fees.

Skipp and Sessegnon will be returning to bolster our squad and I would personally like to incorporate Clarke as well and let him develop in the cup games.

There's others in addition to this list but in terms of CB i like your suggestion 1 good one and 1 younger one who is still good.
Eg. Skriniar and Botman would be a really good window from the club.

Tarkowski could also be targeted. 1yr left in Summer and he would improve us massively.

My proposed squad changes (including transfers & loan recalls):

GK Lloris (10M) → Donnarumma (20M, Sign-on Fee)
RB Aurier (15M) → Lamptey (30M)
LB Davies (5M) → Sessegnon
CB Dier (30M) → Skriniar (45M)
CB Sanchez & Foyth (25M) → P. Torres (40M)
CM Sissoko & Lamela (10M) → Skipp
CM Alli (30M) → Sabitzer (30M)
RM Bale (10M, wage) → Olise (10M)
RM Lucas (10M) → Dembele (30M)
ST Vinicius → Marega (Free)

Net Spend: 60M
 
I do not want any part of Donnaruma as long as he is with Raiola, not worth the headaches he would bring.
