Yeah I wouldn't sign Militao

There are so many CB'S out there and that's the best we can do?

A) I'd want them to be left footed
B) I want them to become our VVD , Militao isn't that.
How about this combination:
Updated algorithm/ cheat code for Levy:

CB: Dier (27M) → Militao (27M)

CB: Sanchez & Foyth (27M) → P. Torres (40M)

CM: Sissoko (5M) → Skipp

CM: Alli (30M) → Sabitzer (30M)

LW: Lucas (12M) → Sessegnon

ST: Vinicius → Weghorst (30M)

Net spend: £26M

I think Andersen from Fulham looks like a good player.
Gave me Toby vibes with the way he sprayed the ball about and read the game very well.

If Fulham don't stay up then I'm sure he won't sign permanently for them so perhaps one to consider in the summer. Areola too perhaps although would he come to be backup?
Anguissa in midfield too also quality.

Spot on and he’s only 24, plus he seems surplus to requirements at Lyon.
With a season of premier league under his belt we could do a lot worse.

Yeah Idk what they'd sell him for I'd imagine maybe something like £20m which for me would be a good investment.

Only thing is not 100% sure he is surplus for requirements there they might have watched him and decided that yeah he is good enough to start for us now. Idk.

Not in this case.

He had his chances and was shit. He has a low football iq and makes bad decisions e.g. the red card against levante was unwarranted.

Militao is similar to Sanchez in that he is found wanting once his athleticism is not far superior to the attackers and thus cannot cover up his blunders

Nacho is a very mediocre CB but he is still better than Militao

Bad positioning, bad judgement = No!
He’s much much better with the ball and reading the game. I saw him live more than 30 times in a year. And against top opposition in the champions league as well.

I was thinking about it yesterday during the game. If Fulham are relegated, they will be the best team to be relegated in a long time. There are some very good players there. Anguissa would be my first choice.

This would be first XI and back up XI if Levy follows my algorithm:

I have a few issues with this

1) Homegrown quota - I think we are way over on foreign players on this.
2) I think we have better depth this season than on that XI.
3) I'd probably look at a new RB
4) Not sure about Militao and Pau if they are 2 the I want. I'd be very happy if we signed both but both are from La Liga and La liga CB's don't always just fit in like that. Big gamble to take 2 from the same different league.

1/ Dier and Alli out for Skipp and Sessegnon could mean balance on HQ quota?
2/ How so?
3/ I think give Aurier a one year contract extension. In 2022 summer transfer window we could then get a new RB and RW as Bale and Aurier leave.
4/ It is a gamble, but in my opinion the best 2 CBs that can be bought at a reasonable price. Skriniar is good but a bit slow, so perhaps a bigger risk in PL.

A very technical bunch. They just lack a cutting edge. RLC is not a 10.

Good fullbacks and that Harrison Reed is one of very few players I've seen give Ndombele a tough battle. Good little player.

My Wishlist:
1. New RB, sell Doherty or Aurier
2. Sell Sanchez, replace with new CB
2. Sell Sissoko, replace with Sabitzer
3. Sell Bergwijn, replace with anybody

It's achievable, would freshen up the squad, and offer a new spine.

Indifferent between selling any of our centre backs bar Rodon but Sanchez probably has the most sell on value especially if he has a strong end to the season.

Sissoko has to go. This 5 year joke has run it's course.

I'd be happy to make no changes in attack so wouldn't sell Bergjwin. Give him another year to prove he can contribute. If Bale stays on he will be first choice RW anyway. Lucas, Lamela, Berg are fine as rotation.

If we don't re-sign Vini we might have to look for another back up striker.

If we can bolster full back (Sessengon in for Davies, anyone in for Doherty), get one top quality centre back, and add a top quality centre mid (along with Skipp's introduction) I think we give the platform for our quality attackers to deliver.

We just can't be in 2022 still playing the likes of Sissoko, Dier, Davies, Winks.
