I didn’t realise boateng was 32 already. Not sure what the appeal is here.
If I had to guess one thing is that he is a free transfer. And another the hope that he will bring some of that Bayern mentality with him as well as being able to share his knowledge with our younger defenders.
Also, we must complete the Boateng set.
In a way I'm not against either, Anderson I like and he's good with the ball, and Boeteng brings experience and class, but I do feel like we need a real athlete at CB and neither fit that profile. We're at nothing if we don't bring in two this summer.
Bollocks Grand Moff Tarkin lacks mobility he'd be shit in a press.
Should take a look at him anyway. Can play through the middle and on the wing, quick and scores goals in a crap team. He would cost around 20m though, Blackburn could be relegated without him and don't see them accepting less, and I don't think he has a massive ceiling at PL level.
The likes of Malen, Daka, Moffi, Gouiri have more in them and wouldn't cost a huge amount more.

Toney is the one from the championship, ended up with the most goals in a season and also got double figures in assists as well.

Yeah, think Lucas, Lamela, Sanchez + Aurier is all we'll be able to shift. Sissoko if we let him go for a very small fee. And Foyth (unfortunately) to that release clause. Dele if they had any interest in selling him.
