He's a player with a massive ego and he'll believe he belongs at a much bigger club than us. I also read an article pretty recently where he stated he would prefer a move to Spain than England should he leave Inter, for the usual reasons South American's give. We have no Champions League football, no chance of competing for the league and are set to lose our best player. We'll need more than our director of football and a couple of Argentines in the club to sign him, or anyone else of his sort of quality.
His Wag will agree the move to London 😂

Maybe but he’s young and might see it as a stepping stone to reach Spain

Southampton will keep him for the season before they sell him for 15m, could be the difference between staying up or not. Will cost 25m I'd think.
No they won't, the Saints always cave in, they need the money. He will leave for 15-20 mill and apparently they want Adam Armstrong from Blackburn as the replacement

Not particularly. My worry is Kane goes and we just sign 1 replacement. Meaning, we are in a worse position. If Harry Kane is sold, we must sign 2 quality strikers. We have always needed another quality striker even if Kane stayed
If we actually had some dosh to spend regardless of any Kane sale, then the ideal would be to pursue Vlahovic no matter what and have Ings on the backburner to pull the trigger on in the event Kane leaves.

50m or so for the former is hardly cheap though, especially after (fingers crossed) getting Romero in. Then again we're clearing a lot off the wage bill at the moment and have brought some money in through sales.
