When you say "we" which team do you mean?
Because it surely can't be Spurs.....

If we are looking for a defensive minded RB who can’t attack, why not play and develop Tanganga? I don’t think I get Takehiro.
Never seen him play, so please correct me, but basing this off of what others are saying.
This seems like we’re paying 20m+ to get an older, non-HG, of what we already have.
He's a much better player than Tanganga at the moment, Japhet needs a loan. I've seen a good few doubts over Tomiyasu but it's a signing I'd be delighted with. Excellent defender at full back and at CB. Uses the ball very well, not a super attacking fullback. I think people will be delighted with him ten games into the season if we do sign him given the chaos we've had in that position the last few years. If we are looking for a defensive minded RB who can’t attack, why not play and develop Tanganga? Because Kane might not have the exact same brain as the players that sell their medals? Did you actually think about what you wrote before posting? What i dont get with kane is his thirst for medals yet you hear in news ex players who are skint sell their medals or store them in the loft. Not sure why its a big deal for kane unless its PR.

I get what you mean and I would love Tanganga to start for us, seems we are after Tomiyasu because he is a very good passerIf we are looking for a defensive minded RB who can’t attack, why not play and develop Tanganga? I don’t think I get Takehiro.

Had we signed Grealish they still would be pushing to see them together... at City.
Alli will save us this seasonHad we signed Grealish they still would b pushing to see them together... at City.

I think this is where I come down, too. Solid CB situation, use the money for a young striker. In 5 years we could be much better off.No point keeping an unhappy player who wishes to leave.
If City can't pay 150m, tell them to include Laporte in the deal, 100m+Laporte will do.
Laporte would not want to come, but it's their job to persuade him.
Romero+Laporte will solve defense problems which have been haunting Spurs for years.
Release Sanchez and Dier ASAP, use Rodon as backup.

Nuno prefers a small squadCurrent squad looking like this.
Association trained: Carter-Vickers, Davies, Doherty,Hart,Rose, Whiteman, Rodon
Club trained:Bale, Dele, Kane, Winks, Tanganga
Foreign:Alderweireld, Aurier, Bergwijn, Dier,Fernandes, Gazzaniga, Højbjerg,Lamela, Lloris, Lo Celso, Moura, Ndombele, Reguilón, Sánchez, Sissoko, Son Heung-min,Carlos Vinícius,Gil, Romero, Golini
U21: excluded from squad count
HOMEGROWN : 9 (can only be 8, expect CCV to go)
FOREIGN : 15 (up to 18)
So, we have 3 foreign spots up for grabs. HOWEVER, if Kane, Winks and Tanganga go; we must reduce our foreign player count by 3. Obviously Skipp and Sessegnon could feature as 'regulars' in the senior squad to plug that gap, but going into the season with such a small squad could leave us exposed.
