The only game he came on late was against Croatia (55 mins. The other times he came on was at 12 minutes vs Italy and 23 mins vs Slovakia). I don't remember him being any more at fault for the Croatia equalisers than the rest of the team, who had a collective hissy fit.

In the Olympics he was fantastic throughout, played every single minute, including extra time in three games. He was excellent throughout.
I had got confused about the specifics.
Check this:

I think Torres may be partly to blame for these two equalisers?:

I can't see that but he may have been partly responsible. Ive said before, many times, unless your looping clearance goes in under no pressure at all, very few goals are a single person's fault. I learnt this from my father in law who was an Iberia chief mechanic. He had done this course that studied airline accidents and found that all were the result of an unconscious chain of mini-mistakes - human error - that result in something big. We talked about how this could apply to football and he got excited, "That's what I connected to as well!"

Since then, when we've watched games together, we'll remember this. Unless it's an obvious individual blunder (which has happened to every single defender on Earth throughout football history), it's a string of individual errors.

You know how everyone blames Winks for the 3-3 equaliser vs West Ham? Why doesn't anyone mention Kane's piss weak defensive header from the corner which immediately puts the cat among the pigeons in our defence? Because he is (was) a hero and Winks is everyone's favourite scapegoat. The truth is it was all those small factors that came together, one after the other.

Martinez, Vlahovic, Insigne, Edouard......not really thrilled with any of them and shows how small the market is. That's the danger of losing Kane and then going on to waste the money we receive for him.

Side note: 'Trix' over on SpursCommunity nailing his colours to the mast in the last hour or so that Kane will be sold in the next day or two.
I"m shocked, shocked! If this is true the timing is uncanny. It's almost like this deal has been done and the actions orchestrated this whole summer. But, ever the optimist, I'm just going to assume the sides have just come to agreement and all the fine details of a deal this massive deal will be easily wrapped up in the next few days.

the three main ones realistic are isak vlahovic and martinez, all with upside and plenty of ability.

isak and vlahovic would be the dream pairing, for 5-10 years plus and to be honest if we get 150 mill for kane then both are attainable, just wish we got laporte in the deal but hey ho
