He wants to stay here until he hangs up his boots. I have never been more certain of anything. He is being driven out by Levy.
You could be right.
Levy said he had sleepless nights when we had 2 points from 8 games. God knows how he has been kipping during C-19.
A nice little £150 million hanging in a satchel on his bedpost might be better than a couple of Temazepam.

if you think the neville thing where hes even giving out figures of what he thinks hes worth is normal behaviour then good luck to ya.

dont blame him for wanting to leave. he turns up to training and has to train with the likes of winks, dele, aurier, sanchez and dier. not going to do fuck all with that dross loitering about the first team squad.

on the flip side, if kanes done all this to kick the club into gear of having a clean out while drawing in some quality additions then hell be the ultimate legend imo. time will tell, that would be 'proper spurs'

Vlahovic - 60m euro
Martinez - 90m euro

+ Torres @ £40m
+ Torres @ £20m
+ Midfielder????

= Gonna need more Kane money.
90m lol, no chance.

I assume we had a budget for the window anyway, lets say 60m, that covers:
- Gil
- Gollini
- Tomiyasu

Romero fee can come out of next summer's budget.

Add Kane money and sales to the existing budget and we have enough to cover the deals mentioned.

According to Di Marzio, Atletico preparing to offer €60m plus a young Argentine defender. CL to offer, off the back of a title win, no doubt an attractive proposition for the player. Important few days for us, Paratici will have to earn his money.

I am not a computer savvy guy....but let me try to explain: I mark the photo and click "copy image" and then click "paste".... It normally works but not on this site (not for me at least)

We are signing Braithwaite ain’t we ? 😩

With the state of Barca and Madrid you'd fancy Atleti to do it again this year.

It's an attractive proposition but surely the lure of service from Doherty is too much for any striker to turn down?

Meh, I'm not happy with what's on offer once you go beyond Martinez and Vlahovic. Early in the summer I was keen on Malen, Ings... You could make a case for Andre Silva or Daka. Leaving it late has narrowed options and pushed up the cost.

If it doesn't go to plan, I wouldn't be surprised by DCL or Icardi.

They are Romano quoted prices... Euros (not £s).

If he and his ilk are credible enough to believe over a 150m euro pricetag for Kane.... Why get skeptical now?

Recap:

= Your take on the Kane money gone already.

As per your post let's cross the £20m for Tommy off the list, but still:

= Gonna need more Kane money.

£160m sterling and you're in business.

What’s amazing about the Chavs is that they spend money like that, *after* signing Werner.

Endless resources isn’t just about getting any player. It’s the fact that failing in the transfer market has no consequences.
People need to stop treating City and Chelsea (and United) like they are on the same playing field as the rest of the Premier League. With current (lack of) FFP, a season where one of those clubs doesn't win the league is almost a fluke at this point.

I like to take the piss out of Werner, but his main strength is the quality of runs he makes off the ball, which frees up space for other players, which was demonstrated perfectly in the Havertz goal in the CL Final. Not sure Lukaku would benefit a lot from those runs. Also, Tuchel doesn't have a good record managing target men, apart from his time at BVB when he made Aubameyang a star (although that was in a compeletely different system to what he plays now at Chelsea).
As you said, Lukaku will be extremely good when it comes to holding up play, but when it comes to having space and finishing, I'm not so sure. If he struggled at Olimpico against Roma and Smalling last year, what chance does he have against defences like Liverpool's, City's, United's or even ours if we manage to get Torres or Laporte?
He's going to score 20 goals. We can nitpick him all we want, but he's going to score 20 goals and Chelsea will give City a run for its money this year.

Its been pretty obvious from the Charlie/Harry show with excuses/reasons as to why Kane was not back in training last Monday that Kane is not really committed to gettimng fit to start the season with Spurs. And probably since that Neville interview at end of last season that ManCity was his choice.

Spurs would have beeen best advised to give ManCity a time deadline making it clear that a deal has to be agreed to allow Spurs to finalise players coming in - and to make it clear that if not there could be no transfer....... and to the Kanes.

This is the obvious weekend for the deadline, start of PL season and 2 weeks to end of transfer window.

So ...... if that's the case I'd guess Kane going will be made public early next week. If a deal has been done.

But I'd also guess that a few incoming transfes will start to be announced before other clubs know we have the Kane money.

Just an opinion of course.

For those thinking that Kane going is the end of the world. Its certainly not good - but we have won nothing with him. Nada

So using the cash to rebuild might be right solution for Spurs. The squads about 3rd oldest in PL now versus 3rd youngest when Poch joined. So we need younger players in - the painful rebuild
