I’d love us to land a genuine ten. I just don’t think we’re going to get that from Gio.
I'd sell LoCelso the first opportunity we get, we won't miss him and we can then find a player that offers more than him. Good thing with Nuno is that he is ruthless and when he decides he doesn't want a player he tries to get them out asap.
If you're good enough, it doesn't matter how old you are in football. Look at Greenwood, Foden or that Liverpool prick.

If we can find a #8 with excellent creative qualities(*) yet won't compromise our current blend/workrate then fine; but we have a balance to our midfield right now that I assume Nuno isn't keen to upset.
Using Liverpool as a model (as they have a similar midfield blend) what we're missing is a more dynamic RB and another Son-esque player to play on the right wing (i.e. Not Traore).

But all of those players have had seasons around the first team and been slowly integrated.
Really excited about Gil, but I just don’t think it’s realistic to throw him in as a floating playmaker tasked with breaking down teams.
