Gotta say I chuckled at this...
Not for the reason you think though...
I chuckled because you think I got to that point.

I would quite literally rather sign someone from this forum on a lucky dip than sign Dan James.
There's at least a 20% chance we'd get someone better at football.
I'd definitely say Reece James is a 100m player in this baffling market.
(Obv only TFM, but others shown for perspective.....)

It's only Chavs & United throwing the crazy bids around this summer, but who knows what lunacy is just around the corner.
I really don't think any of those valuations are accurate, tbh. If anyone had the chance to get Hakimi for less than 60 million I imagine every super club in Europe would bid. If Trent was available for 72 then the same deal.
The RB spot is really thin in terms of quality, you've got a handful of genuinely world class prospects & then a huge drop off. Clubs will pay 100m+ imo if they have the chance to get one of the elite ones.
Annoying he’s at Chelsea he would be incredible in this system.I'd definitely say Reece James is a 100m player in this baffling market.
Not sure I was ready to be the reason you two got on…
And a lot of fans on here and around the way were very pleased with that window.
He's the only player I would genuinely throw the kitchen sink at.Annoying he’s at Chelsea he would be incredible in this system.
tbf, i think I see where Tom's coming from. What's staggering is that you are questioning whether Perisic will be a better WB than Reguilon.
What's staggering is that you are calling Bissouma, probably one of the 5 best CMs in the league, a solid midtable midfielder.
What's staggering is that you are equating Brazil's starting #9 with Carlos Vinicius.
What's staggering is that you consider Lenglet, a player with unquestionable quality who hit a rough patch at Barca, a cheap second/third/fourth choice option.
That's what's staggering.
I gave him 18-months to 2 years when he joined them, i still think his history shows he's a bit of a dickhead as we're witnessing and if they have a rough season i think he'll either jump or get the sack.Hearing this quite a bit, that Tuchel’s days are numbered. Not so sure. Obviously based on previous form but different club and different owner now.0
Kulu has had more impact in his short period at spurs than traore in his whole career. He is shit. Can't cross and can't shoot, beats men by running into awful positions. End product is required not some muscle bound speed merchant with zero end product.I agree with that, so let's see. No doubt at all that he Is not seen as a player who can deliver over 90 mins.
An impact player at best and the question not just for us but any team has to be is that enough?
It's also clear that maybe it's only the top teams who would want and be able to afford such a player, which is the paradox. What I mean by that is that the top teams could afford to pay for him to be an impact player.
Replacing a tiring Kulusevski Traore could be dynamite. Starting instead of him though...hmmmm. Maybe the dilemma.
We probably would have spunked another 50 to 60 if we could have prised a world class CB , particularly a LCB. There’s just no point in chucking Fofana or Anthony or Gordon money for players worth half of what’s being asked just because…..There are some desperately high amounts of money being thrown around for players late in the window, with neither Anthony nor Fofana worth anywhere near the cash.
overall we have had a great window and I don’t want us doing something silly late. That said, I’m a little disappointed we have only spent the money we would normally do with CL TV money etc and not touched the 150m squid that ENIC pledged.
Maybe we are saving it for January?
Nope.
2m is pretty steep a price for a 17 year old, the scouts would know what they are seeingIf this player has so much talent, why are Sheffield United selling him for only £2m?
Yikes , David Cameron is on here
