I wouldn't mind Traore, he should be cheap since he's on his last year of contract, can play RW or RWB (poorly), and he'd be useful off the bench. Imagine subbing Emerson for Traore in the 70th minute vs Brighton where we're chasing a goal and he just runs through their midfield until he gets to the box and lays it off to Kulu.

No doubt he isn't, but without faith in his judgement, #BackingTheManager doesn't really mean a great deal does it?

The problem is the assumption that every signing we make requires a 'In Conte we trust' as if it's a signing he wants.

We have no idea the conversations that have happened. Spence wasn't a Conte signing and James probably wasn't suggested by him either. There's likely some who he has personally recommended or w/e and some the club come to him with.

Not sure what you mean by that, mate.....

If Conte says "Yeh, I think that player X has something I can work with" then surely you trust his judgement, rather than heed someone less qualified at board level saying that player X isn't good enough?

It'd be like Conte telling the medical staff how to do treat an injury.
No because rating football players is subjective to a greater extent than medicine.
