Spence has been looked at my Paratici & Conte, player wants to come here

Conte wants a physically big striker

Zielinski is a real option for us in midfield
scamacca for st?

Would rather we bring in a young st to develop behind kane in case he leaves. Very few world class strikers are going to want to come and sit behind kane.

Bissouma-fanciers take note:

Journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports tnoight that Monaco are thinking about going for Brighton’s Yves Bissouma as a potential replacement for the outgoing Aurélien Tchouaméni.

The French international midfielder is on the verge of completing a move to Real Madrid, although talks are stalling right now over the 22-year-old’s transfer fee.

Once the former Bordeaux man’s move is completed, Bissouma could be in line for a return to Ligue 1 after playing at Lille for two years.

However, the principality side will face competition, given that the midfielder has several offers, with Aston Villa notably on the case.

In my opinion we will go just for one WB to replace Emerson. If Doherty is okay we should keep him as he proved pretty efective in the RWB role this season. Sess and Reguilon are pretty good also. Priorities should be another CB, CM (2 if we are to play 3-5-2), substitutes for Moura and Bergwijn, that we will probably get rid of, and maybe a striker. That's 4 to 6 players.

If we had the opportunity to bring someone like Oblak for Lloris replacement we should also get it done. Same with RWB and LWB, if the right player is avaliable we should go for them, but no problem If we stay with the ones we have in that positions.

The question is: are Spurs a top 5 club yet...? 🤔
He's 27 and his contract expires in 2024. He's been a star in a perpetual mid-table Seri A team, so no more than £50m I'd say.
I doubt (but no I am not 100 % sure) that even Real M. or PSG will pay the €100m Lazio wants.

Not possible
:levystare::levyeyes:

who would be considered a marquee player that we could realistically get?

We need to forget marquee signings and get players who will work. Very few marquee signings are also exactly what a team needs unless they're 1 price piece of magic away from greatness

Why lol?

I am kind of warming up to the idea of Maxwell Cornet as LWB - particularly if it's true he's got a £15million release clause. He's fast, can pass and shoot with both feet, he is versatile and can play in both the WF positions, And has shown that he can hold his own in the EPL. Not my first choice, though.
Strangely enough, no one's made a highlight video of him while at Burnley

Conte also sees versatile Burnley star Maxwell Cornet as an option. The 25-year old signed a five year deal at Turf Moor last summer for an initial £10.2million. But he also has a £15million clause in his contract which became active once the club were relegated on Sunday.

He can take free-kicks (0:54):

He can shoot well with his right-foot (0:57):

What the fuck is it with people's obsession with him?
I don't know anyone who is obsessed with him. His name was often mentioned when we were getting rid of Aurier.

ps I don't know why the link isn't working on this post. Does the word Arsnal get replaced with Woolwich by default? Admin Admin

Took you 4 months to realise. Well done.

This is my short list of LWB's I'd go for:

José Luís Gayà (Valencia)
Marc Cucurella (Brighton)
José Ángel Angeliño (RB Leipzig)
David Raum (Hoffenheim)
Borna Sosa (Stuttgart)
Filip Kostić (Frankfurt)
Maxwel Cornet (Burnley)
Destiny Udogie (Udine)
Jack Harrison (Leeds)

Prospects:
Adrien Truffert (Rennes)
Lucas Netz (BMG)

PS! I am not as keen on Filip Kostić as many on this forum seem to be, due to his age (turning 30 in November) and that he's not known to be a strong defender (yes, contrary to some comments I've read: WB's needs to be good defenders and not just good at crosses).

Which one of those are your Uber-picks? :nawty:

£150 from ENIC, £60m UCL money + sales

Winks - £20m
Lo Celso - £20
Bergwijn - £25m
Ndomebel - £20m (I reckon he'll be a loan again)
CCV - £8m
Reguilin - £30m

If we can get rid of all those, we'll have £300m odd to spend.

LWB, CB, RWB and ST are priority. A new CM and back up winger would be lovely.

Angelino would be perfect for our set up.
