Just on the off chance any Evertons scout are on....

Winksinho is pure class. He’s had a tough time over the last few seasons, not been given the chance to prove himself. But as these stats show, he’s clearly the best midfielder in the Premier League.

Anything less than £50m for him and we’re being robbed blind.

If enough of us spread shit like this some moron is bound to take him

This wouldn’t make sense to me. I think he can be a very good player.

I liked the little I saw him playing for us, but disappointed he didn't seem to get any/many shots on target and ditto assists, and my general impression was he was a traditional winger, and possibly not physically up to PL.

His stats at Valencia showed one assist created but great wing play.

I'm not sure he's shown anything to justify a squad place next season so it suggests either another loan next season or selling. And as we've not used a traditional winger in probably a decade, not sure how/when he gets retrained to fit any system we might use.

So if we get our money back, we can re-invest in a player more suited to Spurs.

Hmm I think you're being unreasonable. Think anything over 45 million would be fair on both sides. Quality young English player who is sadly too progressive for a Conte team.....

I did jury duty a few years ago, IIRC, all we were asked to judge was whether the prosecution proved beyond doubt that the person was guilty beyond reasonable doubt. If in any doubt, the verdict should be not guilty.

I realised just how hard it can be prove something in court beyond doubt. Also difficult to prove that you're innocent beyond doubt.

So if he's found not guilty doesn't mean he didn't do it, but equally doesn't mean that he has any way prove his innocence.

Should he be treated as a criminal even after winning the case?
This is whether he will be charged. The standard is lower at this stage. It's "is there a reasonable prospect of conviction" or something similar since you're all in the UK.

If that standard isn't met, after a thorough investigation which it seems to be, it's probably unlikely he did anything. You'll never get 100 percent of an answer because fortune tellers don't exist, but that's why we have standards in play, and generally assume the best in people as a society (as we should).

I really like Gil. Selling him could be a salah ir de bruyne from the chavs :(

Perisic on a free with a 1 or 2 year contract makes a lot of sense. Would also free up 10-15m vs Kostic. Maybe in those two years there’s a better long term option to replace Perisic, also Sess could learn a lot from him
Why not both? Perisic can play on both wings, and as a winger if we need to change the formation. We need to upgrade on both wing back positions, and couple proper back up to boost.
