I could accept Spence/Doherty as the underwhelming RWB options if we get two great signings in at LCB and CM.

Someone tell Levy not to dither. Get the flippin signings right, with Liverpool peaked and on the way down, With Conte the manager we can get second in the PL and at least one trophy.

And a forward option a level above Bergwijn/Lucas. One good enough to rest Kane/Son, and one we feel can replace either of them when a game is in the balance and they're not doing the business

The RWB being touted as Contes target is Spence and we've signed Perisic for LWB so there's your two.

Perisic to start with Sess as cover
Doherty to start Spence as cover


The only time Doherty has had a run in the team in his favoured position he has looked very good - no use judging him when played as a RB under Jose or Nuno


Edit : Shotgunofmichalebrow Shotgunofmichalebrow - i just noticed you said he wants 2 RWBs - i haven't seen anything that supports that, be interested to see what you are referring to?

Lukaku is not coming to Spurs, we don't deal with Cheski plus he is considering a boxing career.

It won't happen, but Lukaku is a proven premier League goalscorer and Conte player. Always have 2 out of Son/Kane/Lukaku on the pitch would be very good for us, sign Eriksen too so one of Eriksen/Kulusevski is on the pitch as well and our attack would be fantastic, especially with our improved wingbacks.

Kane is also so good that if you wanted all three on the field, Kane becomes number ten, Son and Lukaku ahead of him coming from the left and right inside forward positions (a lot of Lukaku's best football is when he comes in on his left foot, running from that right channel off the ball).

But I don't think it will happen unless Chelsea are desperate to sell and have no good offers.

He would not be a starter unless we totally jack knifed our formation, he would cost a fortune, and most importantly, he’s a Chelsea player. They won’t ever sell to us.

That's not how Chelsea buy players he did not request those players in particular, its one of the reason his tenure there was so short. Buck and Marina G and the other committee members speculate on players like drunks in a cassino. Conte said as much to the Italian press. Doherty being good for midtable Wolves is not a bench mark that impresses me. He like Traore are prefect for the way that size club played...just like Nono. Gold says Conte wants two new RWB I'm keeping all fingers crossed we get both.

Well, as has been agreed at least by some in the ENIC thread: This is the window. This is when we have the cash, the CL football and the manager to shift the league landscape.

If nothing happens - again -, well ...
