No indication that Lucas is off.

Winks - 22
Berg - 20
Lo Celso - 22
Régulion - 23

That’s a total of 87m.

We’ve spent 30 on Bissouma. If you add Rich AND Raph then that’s 115m on top. So a deficit of about 60m before we’ve addressed défence or rwb and without any more significant money to be made from sales.

And that’s if Romero/Kulu money has been budgeted from last year.

There is no way we are signing two new expensive forwards and this is one of those weird unrealistic internet fantasies. Along with step sister porn.

We got 150m from the owner and CL is around 60m. I am not sure we are going to lump on two attacking players but including sales that’s well over 250m so if we really wanted to and where prepared to spend light on other areas it might be feasible.

Pretty sure theres no money to be paid on Kulu yet as he’s an 18 month loan👍👍

Still think in an ideal world whoever we sign out of Richarlison and Raphinha we will still need another attacker. Raphina covers both wings but not Kanes position and Richarlison covers Left and through the middle but not Kulus position.

Obviously both would be too expensive but maybe one of those and then a cheaper option too.

It's not happening. They've faced difficulty registering some of their free transfers, much less expensive signings like Raphina.

Apparently they're trying to sell off all sorts of commercial rights (re-mortgaging the club basically) to the tune of up to 700m.

If that happens; they'll carry on as once was and blow that money in no time. Then they'll be back to square one.

In case some still believe Spurs have a chance on Nkunku...However, it was Gvaridol I wanted from Leipzig but that deal looks very-very unlikely to happen. They are not in need of money and both the club and Gvardiol knows that if he keep on improving, then in 2-3 season the "big" clubs will come for him.

Man United and Chelsea FAIL in their bid to sign RB Leipzig hotshot Christopher Nkunku, with the Bundesliga Player of the Season signing a new contract... but it DOES have a £51.6m release clause that is active next summer

  • Christopher Nkunku scored 20 goals in 34 Bundesliga games last season
  • It was the first time the 24-year-old striker's scoring tally passed double figures
  • The striker's two-year extension with RB Leipzig was announced in a tweet today
  • Both Manchester United and Chelsea were said to be interested in signing him

RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku will be staying at the club after signing a two year deal.

The news will come as a blow to Chelsea and Manchester United who had both been linked with the 24-year-old striker.

They may have a chance to sign the player next year though, with Buli News reporting a £51.6m release clause in the player's contract that can be activated from Summer 2023.

Leipzig announced the deal in a tweet that read: 'Christo is staying! RB Leipzig and Christopher Nkunku have agreed on a two-year contract extension until 2026'.

It had been a steady rise for the striker who moved to Leipzig in 2019 following limited opportunities at PSG.

He predominantly impressed as a creative player in his first season in Germany, bagging 15 assists in his first Bundesliga campaign but only five goals.

Nkunku enjoyed his best season to date in 2021/2, scoring 20 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances. He had never previously passed double figures in a season.

He also scored 11 goals in 12 European appearances as Leipzig reached the Europa League semi finals, not to mention a goal in the German Cup final as the club won it for the first time.

The striker's form even earned him an international call-up in March, with the Frenchman picking up six caps since then.

In a statement released by the club today, Nkunku said: 'I'm pleased to continue wearing the RB Leipzig shirt.

'After our great achievement in winning the DFB-Pokal, it remained clear that my story here isn't over yet.'

'RB Leipzig have made a name for themselves on the international stage in recent years and have shown time and again that we can compete for titles. We want to build on that going forward and go one step further.'

Honestly think Leipzig will be a dark horse for the CL next year.

Missed out big time there..nick pope gone to the geordies for £10m

That would have been our keeper sorted for the next 5 years ..
Good keeper, but a bottom half of the PL keeper. Very poor with his feet under pressure, not great at 1v1's.

Maybe unfair to compare him on Burnley stats due to set-up, but for England his pressurized pass completion rate is 46% worse than Pickford. Play style is suited to the kind of team he's played for.
