Yep looking good. Excited to see who him and Conte have lined up for the summer. He will have had 8 or so months to prepare for it.

Lets face it, he’s done better than Hitchin already. My goodness that man was a disaster.
The Athletic reporting that Spurs are looking for a: LWB, RWB, LCB, back up CF.

Which shows they've identified the right areas.
Our wingers are playing well, although my preference would be to ship Lucas out and bring Gil back. CDM position has depth, shown by the fact we've coped without first choice Skipp. Romero Dier in particular looking strong at the back.

We don't have that many weaknesses. Wing backs perform well against weak teams but haven't cut it so far in big matches, so upgrades there make sense. Only 1 out of 6 CBs are left footed, so selling one for a LCB such as Gvardiol brings balance.

I'm suddenly feeling optimistic.

We have nothing but weaknesses and zero strengths.

If we don't totally make over our dogshit MF then the transfer window will have been a waste of time, although we all know it will be a waste with Paratici and Levy running things.

Do one, Gooner-boy.....

You're a bitter, miserable clueless waster and you're not welcome.

Our starting front 3 is quality, and I’m also looking forward to seeing Bergwin and Gil star for us more next year.

Bentancur Skipp are solid and tenacious CDMs too.

The weakness is not having quality wing backs who will be needed to make a difference in big matches.
We’re not too far away from having a decent squad.

Kane and Son are good.

Kulu is fine if all we want is 4th he is nowhere near good enough for a run at the top teams.

Only one of Bentancur or Skipp can start if we want a competitive MF. If both are starting that is not good enough.

Our CB's outside of Romero are dogshit.

We definitely need to strengthen our central midfield. We don't have enough quality depth there. We have 3 players who are good enough to start or rotate for us. We obviously need 4, ideally 5.

We also do need a backup rwb, unless Gil can make that his own. Kulu can't play 50 games, and Lucas isn't good enough to start there for tough European matches. He's best used as an impact sub. Stevie isn't really a rw and should be depth for Son and challenging him.

This is unfair on Kulu. He has shown quality and creativity so far.
He’s not a goal scorer himself, but his football IQ means he’ll be able to create chances for a pacy attacking RWB, when we buy one.

I think they’ll form a good partnership.
I agree they’re not the most creative, but if we buy correctly in other areas, we won’t need them to be.

I know Kulu is the flavour of the week and people want to badly overrate but he is mediocre at best. Better than what we had but nowhere close to the level of the players on the top teams.

I like Bentancur and Skipp but they offer zero creativity, zero goals and we don’t have the players elsewhere to make up for this.

we need a good goalkeeper not sure johnstone will take over number 1 i bloody hope not anyway, as a backup its a good option

think we need to be looking at nubel, transformed his career at monaco

great keeper and agent saying he wont be at bayern next season

Why do you think this?
He’s got most assists out of any PL player in 2022.

He’s averaging more than one goal contribution every 90 minutes.

Based on watching him play. He hasn’t had a single quality pass where his pass made the play versus Kane or Son making the play with their goal and him getting a stat as the last guy to touch the ball before they scored.
