Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

One Leeds fan doesn't seem too bothered about Harisson leaving. Of course, one cannot predict that Harrison would be a top-act as LWB but he seems to fit the profile of a possible. And if Harrison can sense that him playing as an LWB (under Conte) can land him a spot in the England squad it could provide him with an extra incentive to join Spurs...

Leeds United should offload Jack Harrison to Tottenham if right offer comes

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison could be a player in demand in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the 25-year-old winger in the summer.

Spurs made an enquiry about him in January but Leeds rejected their advances

However, Spurs are keen to get him on board. Fabio Paratici is being advised by Andrea Pirlo, who knows Harrison from their time at New York City, to get the player on board.

Harrison has a contract at the club till 2024 and the Whites are likely to demand a high transfer fee for him. Leeds signed him on loan initially from Manchester City where he made a big impact in the Championship and helped the club achieve promotion under Marcelo Bielsa.

The move was later made permanent. He has scored seven goals in all competitions this season, and he is a proper team player.

Having said that, the Whites should consider selling him if there’s a good offer on the table.

While his industry and work ethics are admirable, he doesn’t give the impression of a player who can improve and take his game to the next level.

Jesse Marsch feels he is an “explosive” (Leeds Live, 10 March) player who is dangerous in one v one situations, but there are other aspects of his game that needs serious consideration.

He’s an intelligent player but lacks confidence like Raphinha to translate his ability on the pitch. His decision making also needs to improve.

If Leeds are to aim for a top-six finish in the league, they should buy quality players. Harrison doesn’t belong to that top-level quality.

In fact, Spurs boss Antonio Conte wants to use him as a wing back. If the right offer comes for him, Marsch shouldn’t hesitate in selling him.

Our reported striker target Darwin Nuñez is locked up in contract turmoil according to Diario Sport. He's recently switched agents and is now represented by Jorge Mendez and his former agent, Edgardo Lasalvia, is suing Mendez and Nuñez.

May affect his asking price, maybe not.

He seems to be doing great there and probably has a good reputation in Spain. I don't think 30m is completely unreasonable if he finishes the season well.

Although that would mean P. Torres being valued 50m, maybe it will be closer to 60m so Gio plus 30 in that case.

Throw in Sanchez too, GLC and Sanchez for Torres job done. Although I suspect Villarreal are not that stupid

We won't sell Lucas, I just don't see it. Unless Lucas wants too. He is a good squad player, Conte obv likes him, so why we should sell him? Bergwijn has much higher pricetag and probably will want to leave, so that's that.

Expectation that Lucas will leave is just silly..
Would love to keep both Bergwijn and Lucas, if both are willing to stay. Base on current form, package of Kane, Son, Kulu, Lucas and Berg is top 3.

Am happy to add Eriksen if he doesn't mind bench job. Kane/Berg, Son/Lucas, Kulu/Eriksen decent (realistic) depth.

I'm not certain there is much in the Harrison links other than a journalist getting wind that Pirlo recommended him to Paratici. They've just spun a story out of it on the back of that.

Emerson is a good defensive fullback. He'd fit in very well at Atletico.

He's not a clogger despite what our more reactionary fans things. He's a pro player for a reason.

This he's very solid at the back can't really remember him ever making a mistake

He's just fucking useless going forward. Bad scouting decision for what we wanted but then again stat wise he did well attacking for the club he was at before on loan

PL is just a different animal to La Liga. It seems players from the Bundesliga and Seria A have the easiest time adjusting and French and Spanish league players have a higher chance off struggling

I mean, he was what we wanted when Nuno was manager and we played 4 at the back. In that system he doesn't need to be attacking since you have a winger out wide.

Either Conte converts him into a wing back with time or we will recoup most if not all we paid for him in a sale. He was a gamble but not the disaster some make him out to be.

Kim Min-ea (again) and Ronnie Edwards (Peterborough) are both mentioned as Spurs targets. I haven't seen either of them play so can't be either for or against
But I am al for getting in young English talents.

I think the areas of focus to improve the first 11 that are essential are

LCB
RWB

if we can upgrade from Davies to Gvardiol or Schlotterbeck say that's massive equally from Doherty/Emerson to Lamptey or Singo or in dreamworld Hakimi

then we look at improving the squad this is where the next 4 positions come into play for back up/rotation in order of importance for me

CM - some one to rotate with Skipp/Bentancur/Hojbjerg - a Konrad Laimer, or Serge Milenkovic Savic. Kalvin Phillips , Yves Bissouma or JWP?

FWD - Ideally a wide forward to rotate in the 3 but could also play 9 - Nkuku, Memphis, Nunez

LWB - to be honest I don't see this as a priority position at all. I think Reguilon and Sess are both capable and more than that quite good.

GK -backup - Sam Johnstone is fine.

Job done.

No chance we'll be in for Lamptey with Conte still coach imo. He's fun to watch, but size, injury history and goal-scoring potential all against him. If Doherty can keep up his good level I agree it could be worth taking a punt on Singo.

Agree with this except Reguilon to Angelino upgrade would be big
