He gives us the option of playing a 3-4-1-2.
Birmingham seem to have recently as well.Have you any idea why the Villa academy seems to have suddenly hit such a rich seam of talent. Its odd?
In a game like the weekend, Bentancur and PEH were getting completely outnumbered in midfield. So badly so we had to brink on Winks to steady the ship, at HT we could have brought on Eriksen for Kulu and had three in the middle to counteract that, got the wing backs higher up and fed Son more. That's when you also need a better attacking option off the bench for later on in games so if that also doesn't work you can chuck on another striker.
Agreed.
with him we could add a B-plan
Roll on roll off free kick taker

Is that really necessary?
Hopefully he'll be aware that Spurs are always very slow to buy and will have patience.Conte won't be happy if we're in August and haven't shown any intent.
I like that he won't be happy with that too.
At least Harry will stop with the free kicks...!If we sign Eriksen this place will be like a warzone.

And if you don't know until an hour before the game if we're going to drop Eriksen in there and go 532, you can't just plan to outnumber us in midfield. Especially if you get more dynamism from the wingback. I'd 100% take him, but he's gonna end up in Spain.City apparently wants to flog Gabriel Jesus, I think he would be perfect for us - young, ambitious, can play anywhere on the front, not a wanker type like Grealish, one year left on his contract, decently skilled, he may not be the City starter quality, but he did good enough for them I think.
It seems to makes sense for Conte to try and woo any free transfer he'd actually want. Eriksen has looked pretty good lately so yea I think it all makes sense.Anyone else surprised by the Conte charm offesive toward Eriksen? Hope it works tbh.
