I think I would rather stick with Kulu rather than sterling . Kulu brings a very calm and technical way of playing he plays really smart and that’s what we missed when erikssen was in the front three and if sterling comes
Son has to play on the right side which to me makes no sense

I actually prefer Sterling when he plays on the right wing, and think he's really effective there.

No Kane to City saga this summer then.

The most obviously deal we've all been suggesting since Gio went there.

Gio plus 20m would do nicely. That would leave us spare change to go for another top CB and we would really be set.

De Vrij seems the cheapest option and I'd be happy with that. Not sure we could get P. Torres plus the likes of Bastoni/Skriniar/Gvardiol/Bremer in the same window.

Romero - De Vrij - Pau Torres
With two top-top CBs (inc. Pau), I would be happy to keep Dier, he's proven he can do the job.

We need to focus on Wingbacks and mid now.

I still think Conte likes Dav enough to keep him (done ok when called upon whilst Rom was still out).

Rom / Dier / ???
( Dav / Japh / Davies )

Really don't see us going big on 2 CBs.
Dave did a decent job when called upon but I'd be amazed if Conte views him as a viable option for a top team given his complete lack of ability on the ball. I think it was more a case that Conte had no alternatives but to use him.

Also, Sanchez is the one in our CB group that could attract a good fee in Europe (25-30m). Add Rodon's 10-15 to that and there's your fee for the second CB.

Gio plus 20m for P. Torres
40m in sales of Rodon and Sanchez (conservative) plus 10m topper for another great CB.

Centre back issues resolved for 30m net.

I think the reported 6 targets are (or should be):
- LCB + CB
- RWB + LWB
- CM
- Attacker

Let West Ham have him

Newcastle 'end their pursuit of Man United outcast Jesse Lingard', as the England international prices himself out of a move by demanding £150,000 a week... but he could head abroad with Juventus, PSG and AC Milan interested

  • Newcastle United have reportedly ended their interest in attacker Jesse Lingard
  • The 29-year-old was demanding £150k-a-week wages and a huge signing-on fee
  • The Manchester United outcast is attracting interest from numerous other clubs

He's good, but we could get better once you take into account wages?

He runs into dead ends a lot, and is also very frustrating to watch. However he does pop into good positions frequently. I personally don't rate him but can see why others do.

There isn't a wide player on the planet we could realistically acquire who would be better than Sterling .. he's top 10 in his role easily.
