People are really blowing Doherty's good spell out of proportion and forgetting how gash he has been for the rest of his time here.

who is this experienced elite RWB that you envision there that is actually available?

The RWB market is the worst of all the positions this summer.
Plenty.

Off the top of my head: Maehle, Dumfries, Mukilele

Someone with a bit more pedigree and top level experience.

Exactly this . A few pages back it became received wisdom that there were no RWB better. Its simply fake news. I'd add Wilfred Singo to that list. Big strong could cover right centerback but he's attacked well this season for Torino.

I can't agree with that.

Playing Lukaku with Son would just nullify Son. Lukaku just doesn't have the ability to interlink play up front. He's a striker that gets in the end of a move, not one that can drop deep and get involved in the movement of the ball. I really think he'd be a bigger flop with us than with Chelsea.

He linked up pretty well with Martinez

In his final season yes, but Son isn't Martinez.

I was talking more though about his link up play within the team itself. At best it is average, at worst he causes a great deal of promising moves to break down through poor touch and a lack of vision.

Just my opinion, but I see him as a player that benefits from good link up play around him, rather than contributing to it.

What are the chances we get Spence, and Brennan Johson goes on to be the star from that team?

Would be typical Spurs.

Just watched Bale play and no way should we sign him. His pace has gone and no agility left.

Gareth Bale is on a World Cup mission.
He's done it again for Wales, he's put them within sight of Qatar with a left-footed beauty over the wall.
Honestly, there is nothing this man cannot do for his country.

I really don't want Bale - he's had his time here but we need younger blood. We're supposed to be building for the future, not collecting guests for the Antiques Roadshow

Bit dishonest by that reporter though - it was a free kick the Ukrainian goalkeeper was likely going to save before the defender decided to head it into his own net.

Hardly a screamer.

Why don't you watch the game?

Bale's free kick was poorly hit and Yarmolenko decided to head it in.

Regardless of Bale's set pieces, his overall play is poor. No way would Conte stand for this.

Beauty? The defender headed it past his own keeper.
