Sterling as witnessed in his last England game is pretty much a one trick pony. He certainly doesn’t have the football intelligence of Kane. Also he does score now and then some great goals but most of his goals for citeh are tap ins bcos of the way they play. Outside of that his contribution sometimes is minimal.
Would any sensible Manager buy a used player from this man?

Dragon 1 Re Eriksen and the idea that someone in his camp has pissed us off (on COYS)

Unless that happened today no one has pissed anyone off and Christian wants us and Daniel would like him to come back but the final call rests with Antonio

This doesn’t make any sense to me.
Surely Levy wouldn’t be talking to eriksen and his agents if conte wasn’t already on board??

For about 3

So you're forgiving Harry for his appalling behaviour for the 1st 3 months of the season but poor old Christian can't be forgiven.
Seems slightly hypocritical to me.
What about giving the the bloke a chance to redeem himself. He's played really well this season and he's among the most creative mfs in the league.....or any league for that matter....
I mean yeah, they're entirely different situations.

Kane wanted to leave a 7th place team managed by Nuno that was on a two year downward trajectory and showing very little ambition. Once the club shaped up, got a proper manager, and started playing decent Kane got back on side. I thought he went about the situation in a poor fashion, but I don't blame him for wanting to leave last summer. Things were incredibly bleak. Also, unlike Eriksen, Kane had a great season this year whereas Eriksen downed tools for a whole half season.

Eriksen decided he was too good for us coming off a Champions League Final and four straight UCL appearances. Unlike Kane, who had the perennial PL Champions interested him, Eriksen had no other club interested and basically pulled the Danny Rose Milan shit with Barca/Real Madrid who had no interest. Also unlike Kane, who had just dealt with washed Mourinho and was facing down a season with Nuno, Eriksen was leaving Pochettino behind, who had made him the player he was. Eriksen just wanted out at any cost and he made a lateral move to Inter, who had been mediocre since Mourinho left in 2010. Luckily for Eriksen Conte bailed Inter out.

Also, Kane is 10x the player than Eriksen is. Kane is a better passer and playmaker than Eriksen every was and he has the added value of banging in 20-25 league goals a season.

Don't understand the twerking for Eriksen, he pretty clear doesn't have much time for the club. We were just the best option until United came in with more money, it was purely convenience that he was looking at us not some romantic return.

Conte is already on board, he's said he wants him back in multiple press conferences pre/post game. Check on youtube it's there.

Unless Clarke has gone thru some miraculous transformation over the summer it's time to sell him and not loan him out again (his contract expires next year)

Paying 10m for Jack Clarke might be the worst value transfer ever. Even Ndombele and Lo Celso had redeemable moments with the first team.

Hitchen should be tried at the Hague.

Its perfectly possible that players are negotiated with to a final stage with Conte's knowledge and consent - but the question to Conte just before signing is 'has anything changed, have any other players we have been talking to gone up the list, do you still want us to sign this player' (reason is transfer negotiations could well have been going on for 4 - 6 weeks, and things can change in that timescale)
