Palace to sign West Brom keeper Johnstone on four-year deal
Sam Johnstone has agreed a four-year deal at Crystal Palace and will join the club on July 1.The England goalkeeper's contract at West Brom ends at the end of the month and he has now made the decision to leave the Championship side.
Johnstone had initial interest from Tottenham but they decided to sign fellow England international Fraser Forster.
Johnstone made it known to clubs he intended to fight for the No 1 spot at the club he eventually decided to join.
Palace will now listen to permanent and loan offers for Jack Butland. Vicente Guaita is currently Palace's No 1 goalkeeper.
