Well said. The disrespect he gets shown is baffling. He was an absolute quality player for us, stayed with us for 6.5 years and only the last 6 months weren't great. The bullshit he supposedly downed tools in 18/19 when he dug us out of holes against Inter Milan, Burnley, Brighton with last minute goals. We wouldnt have got to a champions league final or top 4 without him. Summer of 2019 he said he wanted a new challenge and try a new city. Nothing wrong with that. Just took 6 months to get a fee and a club that suited everyone.
Yep, the fact he is available for free is the biggest bonus.
