It’s interesting the LCB talk has gone cold. Still no clue who’s gonna come in in that position
We've been linked with another CB from Milan in the last few hours

With Bergy off and Lucas being a bit part player and not long left on his contract, plus this long term search for proper goal scoring back up, buying both would make more than a lot of sense👍👍 when an opportunity presents itself, grab it….

The club/Levy doesnt want to be fighting every season for top 4, we want to cement our position in the top 4. Do City, Liverpool and Chelsea fight every season for top 4? No, ok Chelsea have a bit for a couple of seasons, but those teams are nailed on to be in the top 4, with two of them competing for the title. 4th place and maybe 3rd are up for grabs for a team to make it their own. Spurs to fight for the top 4 or cement that position, what do you think Levy wants?👍👍

Glad to hear that.

We shouldn’t have top 4 as a goal, it should be an expectation. Our goal should be challenging for honours and hopefully by the end of the window, that’s what we’ll be thinking!

Are we not the club who spunked £54m on Ndom? And then loaned Lo Celso and tied up the £27m deal 6 months later? £80m+ on those two, 2 years ago….

Is it a stretch to think spending another 30m-40m on the 2 R’s? Throw in Bergs money, something for Lucas, Winks etc plus the money we have…
Don’t forget 20m plus on Sessegnon with those 2 in Poch’s last window. 100m and they say Levy didn’t back him.
Might seem a lot to buy the 2 R’s but they are both proven PL players which takes the risk out of the signings.
Richarlison gets criicised for his pathetic play acting. We can do without that. Sure Conte can knock that out of him. It is a fact that Richarlison record in the last 2 seasons is as good , if not better , than Jota before his move to Liverpool. People think that Jota has always been a goal machine when , in fact, he hasn’t.

I suggested Pukki as a decent option but got pelted with wasps nests. I still think he would do well for us though to be honest.
the good thing about pukki is he would accept the bench.
people don't understand that with players like kane, son you can't have vlahovic and neymar on the bench.
also players like bergwjin don't accept the bench
so the options are 2: you put on the bench some youths (but conte is not keen about that) or some experienced-midlevel players

It's a fair concept but Pukki is not mid-level. He's a championship level bruiser.

I couldn’t careless mate. It reeks of small time Spurs of old. If Harry gets injured or we need to mix it up with the massive amount of fixtures this season with CL, I don’t want Pukki being a bloody striker option 🤦‍♂️ Think big mate. Would Liverpool etc have him as their back up? We go for quality, spend huge on Raphinha or Richarlison and we rotate. They will get plenty of games.
