Nope, I've seen others backtracking on previous claims we will spend. Plenty of goalpost shifting to go around, he's just the worst offender.
120m+ would be nice, considering it's what Woolwich spent last season WITHOUT CL football. Obviously it's very dependent on who we go for (how high profile they are, wages etc..) but some serious investment in to top shelf quality would be great to see.
Nobody wants 300m or more, let's not be silly. People want to see us get the window we were promised, the one loads of people were smugly telling us we just had to be patient for and are now already covering their tracks on.
i suppose dier could cover for the CM in an absolute emergency. you need them utility players who can play multiple positions because having 5 CM will be hard to keep all happy and match fit. doc and perisic can play on opposite wings if needed too which helps.
richarlison would be a great signing if we can get him next, add quality to that front line and genuine back up for kane which we havent had since kanes been kane.

This seems like pretty sound logic. I think most transfers are conducted this way, as in; sign now, pay over the agreed terms, the case in point regarding Bissouma: 25m ÷ length of contract + add-ons
Dunno what happened with Sarr. First few times I saw him I thought he was sensational.
I don't normally comment on how a player looks but this one was too good to overlook.
