Ask yourself this. Why have we built a stadium fit for champions?
No I get that point very much. I mean that you have heard something?

Ask yourself this. Why have we built a stadium fit for champions?
Not really the message we want to be sending out. We‘re building momentum at the moment and entertaining an offer for Sonny would set back the excellent work CoNate’s already achieved. If Real offer 90 million for Son, I'm sure we can replace him with a similar quality player (Raph, Nkunku, other), who is also younger and can have a similar impact. I don't want to see him go; I love the fucking guy. But we should not be afraid to sell a star player assuming we have good scouting in place to replace him with a younger version.

Galatasaray are in talks with Tanguy Ndombélé, all conditions will be pushed. Ndombele is at the top of Galatasaray's transfer list.
This is why I don't understand the fear from some fans of spending £60m+ on top players who aren't guaranteed to start every game. To be at the top you need 2 quality players in every position.Ask yourself this. Why have we built a stadium fit for champions? Stop being small mindedwe as fans must change our mentality because the club has changed its

People need stop being short sighted and start thinking that we need to be considered as nailed on for top 4, not just fighting for it. Let the others fight for it.
And the Eriksen rumoursThat's second-guessing him. You may be right but so far he got in another CM (not an CAM) and he's after wide forwards, i.e. Raphinha or Richarlison. No sign of Conte being after a quality CAM (unless one believes the recent ITK on Maddison).
I'll be amazed if this is a transfer. The Turks love a cut price loan..
Agree and with 5 subs, champions league and a world cup in the middle of the season i'd say its essential. Everyone would get plenty of minutes. Its why i think we need 2 forward players. This is why I don't understand the fear from some fans of spending £60m+ on top players who aren't guaranteed to start every game. Great explanation. The fact we have £150 million does not mean we will spend all £150 million of that money on players that cost £150 million. Transfers don't work like that with amortisation. Conte could buy 6 players @ £50 million each all payments spread over 5 years. That's £300 million total commitment but only £60 million spent in this year in the books.
What will make you more happy:
1. Conte spends £300 million but is annoyed that he didn't get the players he wanted.
2. Conte spends £80 million, but gets every single one of his targets.
In the past we've spent so much on players that were brought in without a plan. Now we have a coach that knows how he wants to play and the type of player (not x player) he wants for that position.
It shouldn't matter what we spend as long as we spend it on what Conte wants and he has the squad he's happy with to challenge.
We’ve got the stadium. We’ve got the training facility. We’ve got the manager. Covid has fucked off. We’ve got a cash injection(why?Guess this is the summer we go big, build the core of Contes team for next few seasons.
Each window coming, add additional pieces as needed to maintain/push on (even if that is a 70m Van Dyk as example)

Clutching at straws but a decent sell-on?Probably a free transfer with subsidised wages?
Still think makes more financial sense for it to be a loan, even if it’s free, but contribute to wages if we need too.
There’s always the chance he gets it together and actually attracts interest in a transfer.
Mmm...all those tasty kebabs!I'll be amazed if this is a transfer. The Turks love a cut price loan..
The fans can be as positive as anything, ultimately the level of ambition shown this summer is out of our hands. Early signs are promising but if we want to be winners then they need to prove it as of now. We’ve got the stadium. We’ve got the training facility. We’ve got the manager. Covid has fucked off. We’ve got a cash injection(why?). What do you all think is the plan? To compete for 4th
open your fucking eyes and start to think like winners

If we're serious about reeling in Chelsea with our sights even higher I'd say it was absolutely essentialAgree and with 5 subs, champions league and a world cup in the middle of the season i'd say its essential. Everyone would get plenty of minutes. Its why i think we need 2 forward players.
Yes. But some of us, doubt it, ask questions, shit on it. If it was Chelsea or City, or Liverpool, they would look at it, as standard procedure, why not us????The fans can be as positive as anything, ultimately the level of ambition shown this summer is out of our hands. Thanks. The statement actually says 'up to £150m', along with 'investments on and off the pitch'
According to reports, current transfers equate to;
£6.26m on the signing of Yves Bissouma
£9.4m on the permanent signing of Cristian Romero
£5.3m on the loan fee of Dejan Kulusevski
£1.5m for the sale of Cameron Carter-Vickers
