If Real offer 90 million for Son, I'm sure we can replace him with a similar quality player (Raph, Nkunku, other), who is also younger and can have a similar impact. I don't want to see him go; I love the fucking guy. But we should not be afraid to sell a star player assuming we have good scouting in place to replace him with a younger version.
Agree with the principal that we shouldn't be afraid to sell when we can get similar quality at a younger age, but sell Son now? Not for me.

as it stands...

If we add a LCB and a ST to this then we might have a chance to do something special.

Everton want 60 million and they are properly skint so need every penny , we are not paying 60
they like winks but don’t have the dough

no incoming is particularly close right now I’d say Spence will be next because we aren’t far apart

Son is the life and soul of the team, everyone clearly loves him, he plays with a smile on his face and there maybe 3-4 players in his position that are better/ as good as him.

Never sell!

We’ve got the stadium. We’ve got the training facility. We’ve got the manager. Covid has fucked off. We’ve got a cash injection(why?🤷‍♂️🤣). What do you all think is the plan? To compete for 4th🤷‍♂️🤣 open your fucking eyes and start to think like winners👍👍

100% this.

We all know that everything is in place regarding ground, facilities etc and aside from stadium naming rights we are good to go.

Levy knows the score now, players that we want have been brought in far earlier than at any point over the past twenty odd transfer windows (from my memory), this mainly due to pressure from Paratici and Conte that has been put on him.

Fighting for the third or fourth place should not be an option, and now that we have the financial clout, Woolwich being mismanaged and Chelsea in flux, Levy really should see this as the most important transfer window since the last time he used a comb.

The big-money teen said he could one day sign for Tottenham Hotspur.

Joao Felix has prompted speculation about a future move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Benfica sensation has just sealed a £112 million move to Atletico Madrid [The Mirror].

But the 19-year-old has admitted that he may have aspirations to play in the Premier League at some point down the road – and, more specifically, at Tottenham.

During an Ask me Anything on Bleacher Report, Felix said he’d like to test himself in England’s top flight at one point in his career.

Asked for his thoughts on a potential move to Spurs, he added: “Me, to Spurs?
now that’s impossible, but I don’t know, [maybe] one day.”

I'm amazed that any fan can even contemplate promoting the sale of Sonny. Our player of the year and golden Boot winner and some dude on here saying we shouldn't be averse to selling him and replacing him with someone like Raphinha!

Crikey
