That’s my thinking too. It was alluded to that the injection was to fund the club and not explicitly on transfers only.

Problem is, some fans and now clubs are misinterpreting it thinking we’re PSG or something.

I can see the argument for Lenglet on loan, assuming other options have been exhausted. Low risk, competition for Davies, and frees up resources for other positions. If Lenglet is not up to the task, circle back on LCB next summer.
 
Don't listen to the Twitter twaddle. There's a player in Lenglet. He, like Kulusevski, would benefit a lot from a change of environment. He'd be good competition for our backline. Barca has killed his confidence. Saying that, I doubt Paratici is thinking of Lenglet as our starting LCB, unless we are planning on going all out on Hakimi or something extraordinary.

Lenglet has been horrendously bad for Barca, make no mistake about it.

The potential signing makes ZERO sense. We should be looking to upgrade the LCB position and Davies is very good cover.

It's just the fact that it's very unsporting (yes it might win you a crucial game, but it takes a certain type of player to do such a thing IMO..and most players wouldn't do this..) and when added to all the other stuff he has done it compounds the overall dislike for the bloke.

Anyone good in the number 9 role, tends to be a specialist, and unable to play wide. So those guys don't want to come and play second fiddle. Richarlison can get good minutes centrally and wide. We won't do better for a Kane back up.

The answer is quite simple, buy both.

Moura will be going either this season or next, Berj for definite. We have the money and we have the players outgoing.

We need to think like Champions and not like also-rans.
