Yeah agree, didn't realise they hated us that much (what I've seen on there forum etc) but seems everyone does
Just three thoughts -
1) It is quite pointless to assume that Chelsea get all their main targets and we fail to get any players we are targeting. Most likely we will get some and miss others, same for Chelsea.
2) while some of their potential targets seem quite proven quality (Sterling) then with others there are lot of question marks. I bet you assumed that 100mil Lukaku was also frightening transfer year ago... We saw how that went.
3) the same "elite manager" also oversaw their end of the season... Plus once more - lot of technical / backroom staff is changing in the club. We don't know impact of that yet.

I like Everton. They’ve had a similar footballing trauma to us in that their neighbours won numerous trophies while they’ve thrown money and everything at trying to catch them without luck or success. They’ve also had a lot of Scottish players and goodison is a tremendous old stadium. However I’ve not forgotten the 4-1 fisting they gave us in that semifinal so in this particular scenario- fuck them and that wee kid and his mum.
