Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Apparently they are looking at Wilshere for one of the Woolwich youth team coaches. Under 18 and 21 have both just left. Have listened to him on radio and he seems to have no personality at all.
Let’s hope he gets one of the jobs and make an arse of it
His entire personality is coke head gobby spurs hating chav.

I bet he goes on "beano's" with his "mates" and has a "right laugh"

I've seen quite a few comments about Conte not putting pen to paper, and possibly leaving. As long as he continues to do well, clubs will always want him, and we will have a fear he might leave, therefore we're more likely to back him – It's a tactical masterclass!

If you believe you are the best then you are never insecure and fear for your job, a renewal will always be there waiting and he can keep calling the shots. The day he signs a long contract is the day he loses some of that power.

It's not so different to how some peeps were perpetually scared of Poch, Kane, Dele and so on going to RM.

Much like a few still have the same fear about Kane & Sonny leaving this window to cover the cost of our new signings.

.......Some just choose fear. They can't help themselves.

Just read Ali Gold's article on the whole homegrown situation (which every year seems to only affect Tottenham). Looks like we are currently 5 over the allocated 17 non-homegrown spaces for Europe. If we assume:

Rodon
Bergwijn
Lo Celso
Ndombele
Sarr

Are either sold or go out on loan, that'd take us to the limit of 17. Obviously Spence will be homegrown or on the u21 list whatever, but we would need to shift more to accommodate any more non-homegrown signings. Maybe Gil will go out on loan, and it's possible Reguilon and/or Emerson will be sold too. Didn't we have an issue before where we had to leave some players out of Europe? Was it Rodon?
For PL Rodon is HG it’s just Europe when the welsh are seen as foreign.
Gil is under 21 if he comes back. As is Sat. Doubt either will be back. As it stands, incl Spence we have 7 HG. We just need to shift a few of the foreign players. Bergy, Lo Celso should be ok to sell.
Will have to try and get a loan for Tanguy or we might have to give him away.
Will be interesting to see who is left behind when we go to South Korea.

That was 2016-17 season, when we signed him he had just scored 5 goals in 31 games, only one in the league.

I have no idea what you think I just said, but I am 100% correct; in fact it was 15 goals for Swansea.

The following year he only got 985 mins in all comps and yet still averaged a goal every other 90mins.

The next year 8 goals in 1247 (all comps) which he averaged even better at 0.57 goals per 90mins

He was also instrumental in key CL games vs Madrid (A), City (A) & Ajax (A).

I think with Conte it's going to be 2 year extensions max. Which is fine.

I agree that when you know you're the best you don't worry about contract extensions, since you know you'll always be in demand. What I don't know about Conte is whether, now that he's been around, he wants to settle at a club rather than keep moving every 2-3 years. So even if Spurs continue to back him will be still want to move, or would he be happy to stay?

He is back!

"When we signed him he'd just scored 14 for a relegation battler."
We signed him in 2018-19 season, 2017-18 just one prem goal.

I'm enjoying what is happening without forgetting what has happened and also keeping both eyes open about what may subsequently happen.

Nah, you're mostly just relentlessly posting "21 years" fake news about our spending & shit-posting about Richarlison.

You usually turn to shit in the trf winodws, but you've kicked it up another gear this year despite the fact it ought to be a stress free and enjoyable summer of optimism.

Your bitter, ignorant showing in the womens football thread the other day was no better either.

Sad really.
