Woolwich are really turning out to have a terrible window when it started with great promise...

Raphinha rejecting them for Barca, and prefers Chelsea anyway
Lisandro Martinez rejecting them for United

And now Hickey, who is two footed so could have provided desperately needed cover for them at LB and RB, signs for Brentford after he was strongly linked.

not terrible at all considering they will play the UEL and not the UCL

Still can't quite get my head around having Antonio Conte.

All goes back to making the CL final. Trophies are of course the most important thing but that night in Amsterdam was when I feel Spurs stepped into the big time in a lot of ways. Our club changed its course when Moura did what he did, it really elevated us.

You are right of course, but also the 2 Milan games (Inter & AC) started the ascent.

I can understand that they are upset though. And, let's be honest, it's not the worst place to develop as a player.
The rumors about Jayden Meghoma leaving Spurs for Man Utd. didn't exactly make the Spurs fans happy (maybe he's joined them by now).
Chelski are experts at pinching top talents from other clubs and then claiming it was their academy that developed them (but karma is a bitch...so Chelski have also ended up selling many of their academy players on the cheap only for the same players to turn into stars at other clubs).
It's hard to make a water-proof rule about preventing other clubs from "pinching" academy players from each other clubs though.

The Pikey's will get compensation for a player that is not guaranteed to be a success at the very highest level, secondly they should have extended his deal earlier.

Finally it's the Pikey's so let's all revel in their abject misery.
