I'd have thought we'd at least bluff like he was still an important squad player to help keep his price high.
Seems like kind of a weird move unless they think a move could be imminent (stay local for physicals/etc), or if he has showed reluctance to leave (viscerally nudge towards exit).

I guess it's just to make the player more open to the move, give them a clear indication that they're not wanted. It feels a bit harsh, he seems like a nice, bubbly guy. But he really hasn't kicked on at all, and technically is more suited to lb than lwb.
Maybe in there because he's a solid player and has a good chance of being an important member of our squad this coming season.
Why bluff? If Reg is out of the preseason tour and set to be sold, we can add Spence no problem and use Doherty as the flex 5th wb (lwb/rwb).

Probably a bit harsh saying no future. Probably more like they are not in the immediate plans this year and all 4 are capable of playing elsewhere so have probably been told to look for other clubs.

We're definitely much closer with Rudiger and Christensen leaving. Until we have a season in which we at least split our tie with them, and finish ahead of them in the table, I won't say it though- 'better than Chelsea' is something you do, not something you talk about. I do think this year, is that year, however...
All four need to move on for their sake as well as ours
I wouldn't mind having Bryan be the 6th attacker in this season's squad, necessarily, I just worry he wouldn't get enough game-time to develop properly.
I don't think they're in the managers plans at all, and so in that sense they've no future at Spurs, this year or any year while Conte is in charge.
Do you think any of them will play again for Spurs? They're on big wages and can bring in money being sold, there's no way the club want players hanging around who aren't playing or gonna play.

But his usual idiocy comes from a comple lack of awareness as to what is going on.
This time he seemed aware that Chelsea as at now are noticeably weaker than they were last season and were much stronger.
