But by calling him “one of the best midfielders in Europe” you’re comparing him to Rodri, Thiago, Kroos, Modric, de Jong, Veratti etc etc” do you really think a player that has played for no bigger club than Brighton til he’s 25 and cost 25 million without any really bigger clubs than ourselves going for him is at their level?
And before the pitch forks come out again, I stress again, I do rate Bissouma and think he will be a very good addition.

I’m quite glad it’s quiet in incomings. Let the squad get settled. Would be good to hear something on players leaving the club but I suspect that’s even harder than getting them in.
