If Conte wants him, Wolves wants to sell, and he is willing to come to us, fuck it let's get him We shouldn't act like players are girls that didn't want to date us. And sometimes getting humbled like he did may actually work in his - and our - favor and make him want to double down to prove something.
Still plenty left in the tank for Hakimi then...
Safe to say he went back to Barca with something to prove..... And he failed.
He aint the best on the right either, yes he improved a bit last season, but thats still not the level required
But when Dembele plays in his position & hits form he had no chance. I think he showed there he can still be useful in a certain role, but as someone on loan who they didn't need to buy, he quickly fell down the pecking order.
Still sell Emerson. We know Doherty has assists and goals in the system. Perisic can also cover RWB as apparently very good on his rightSpence has exceptional potential. His dribbling is already great, and hopefully he can develop end product with coaching and age.
He is a bit of a risk, so perhaps there's an argument to keep both Doherty & Emerson? We'll have 5 WBs after selling Reguilon, which may be ideal strength in depth needed.
Our current squad, with adjustment for obvious outgoings. HG quota narrowly met.

There's a bit of an imbalance as we have 12 defenders for 5 positions, but only 9 FWD/MIDs for 5 positions.
We can add another player without having to get rid of anyone else, as long as they are HG.
A non-HG in would mean we need a non-HG out.
Rodon out (loan?) for another CB seems like a no-brainer. An attacking midfielder would also add squad balance. One of those 2 would have to be HG.
Tanganga may as well be loaned as he won't get much game-time, even though we'd be left with a smaller squad.
No, that would breach HG limit. This isn't really true though..... You're including Rodon & Tanganga whilst neglecting to include Gil & Sarr.
Flip that and it's:
DEF: 10 for 5
ATT/MF: 11 for 5
"Useful" but found little use for him.
"For a while"? ............After 2 games he was found out and left scrounging for minutes.
The "told you he'd smash it"s then dried up VERY quickly.
Everton is a very fitting place to find himself as he enters his 'peak'.
But as Airfixx pointed out, he did get some minutes but wasn't productive during them. Think he got some matches in Europa and couldn't deliver.Like I said, he did well when he arrived & then got usurped by Barcelona's 100 odd million quid winger in the same role, as well as a few others who they paid big money for. Not surprising that the player on loan got pushed to the sidelines.
I don't think he will go there, but also think it's over for our interest .. we've moved on, which is fair.
No, that would breach HG limit.
It's also clear that the aim is to ship out Rodon and bring in another CB.
Tanganga leaving wouldn't make room for anyone else (unless we buy a club trained like KWP).
